Sibella lives in a constant state that can only be likened to the feeling of raising a foot to take another step and landing on something phantasmic and intangible – a solid misstep into fluttering unease; hitched breaths that dissolved into self destruction or laughter. She was still in the process of becoming – of bouncing back from the desecration of something so close to beautiful; bouncing back from a stolen girlhood and the gift of teeth and claws.

Sibella was a prefect, and although she is a bit flighty, there’s never been a question that she’s competent. She usually doesn’t look before she leaps, but she pulls it together and can calculate her landing before she crashes too hard. She’s was a bit of a whirlwind in her Hogwarts days and either got into self destructive territory, or throwing herself into her studies and books. She had trouble navigating and trying to figure out her place in pureblood society, but she’s sort of horrified and disgusted with it all. She is both softer AND sharper than expected, and part of her is still optimistic. She really latched on to “a dream in the dark” based on Hamilton (“but we dream in the dark for the most part”) and the quote from Carrie fisher Carrie Fisher — ‘If my life wasn’t funny it would just be true, and that is unacceptable.’

She has started to untangle herself, though she is related to the Nott Family and is still finding her footing on her own. She’s an Unspeakable and slowly realizing she doesn’t have to bury her anger and trauma, but it’s a long path to walk alone.

okay so basically Sibella is a werewolf and her mother was betrothed to someone else but broke off the arrangement and had Sibella with a different guy. Her mother was disowned and ultimately died pretty young, and the Rosier family “killed off” her father and basically paid him off to get out of the picture and abandon Sibella. She and her mother were attacked by a werewolf and that night resulted in the loss of her mother, and the curse that stole her femininity and tore her humanity to shreds when a full moon bellied up. The Rosiers took her in and raised her with a weird dynamic of being a black sheep and a lost little lamb returned to the flock – and they treat her as something beautiful and fragile but she has this dark monster living within her/she’s a werewolf and it was a pretty toxic environment to grow up in.

It’s definitely not known to others that Sibella is a werewolf and the Rosiers are pretty ruthless but it’s seen as them taking pity/mercy on their granddaughter by taking her in and “raising her the right way.” They’re pretty much like “her mom deserved what happened to her because she stepped out of line” and that notion is pretty public, but Sibella is in such a weird position because of it.

Happy is a complicated word for Pippa, and the one that slips most easily in its spot is fun. Pippa Atherton is fun; a bright hurricane of a girl. She is bright smiles and the exciting pop! of champagne corks. She is a bruise left on a long neck by soft lips, demurely hidden by scarves in winter. She’s a taunting pink lip stick print and daring, mischievous eyes. Pippa is a glittering facade of many things, but true happiness is not one of them. She is happy enough, but she excels at being fun.

Anyone that signed their name as P. Graves was bound to leave an impact, but the usual choice was not a sparkling, midnight ink. The Graves are touted as a powerful family in both connections and skills, and Pippa is no different. Her exceptional dueling prowess was encouraged from a young age. It flourished into a love of fencing, in which Pippa is internationally ranked. She may or may not be known to enchant a suit of armor to spar with her when intoxicated.

Both sides of her family are quite influential, and she is also derived from The Hammonds. They run Abraxan Wizarding Technology, formed in the 1920s, and remain at the forefront of wizarding technology and magical engineering. Her brother, Asterion, was entrusted with the British branch at 21 -- a stark contrast to Pippa’s lack of ambition.

Pippa is very smart, but is quite lazy and is simply not interested in the family business, nor a position in MACUSA which she has been groomed for. She's not the biggest fan of effort, unless she channels it into something else. She is ambitious in other aspects, though not the things she was groomed for. Pippa is the Social Media Manager for the British branch, and loves networking and event planning as well. Her socialite skills shine through, but she still leaves her mark.
