Happy humid hump day! 😩🥵 Dear lord was it hot out there today! It was almost unbearable to be outside for more than a few minutes. Plus, the air quality has been awful due to the wildfire blowing in from Canada. It’s best to stay hydrated and indoors on days like these.

I had a cardio-only workout scheduled for today, so I was super grateful for the A/C in the garage! It makes workouts like these bearable. I did a 45+ minute cardio kickboxing workout with 16 ounce gloves. I also used additional light equipment in between combos (resistance band, 3 lbs weights, 10 lb medicine ball, and a jump rope) for intervals. I ended up having a lot of fun and finishing up in under an hour. 👊🏽

Total calorie burn = 386 kcals 🎉

I’m really hoping it cools off sometime soon! Tomorrow, involves a lot more being out and running around. And, it looks like another hot one! 😯

Unfortunately, it’s true that when you become “self obsessed” the world starts paying more attention to you

By self obsessed, I don’t mean thinking you’re better than everyone else or making everything about you

I mean becoming deeply invested in your own life. Prioritizing your growth, your health, your goals, your peace, and your happiness. Building a life that excites you instead of constantly wondering what everyone else thinks

Ironically, the less you chase attention, the more magnetic you become. People are naturally drawn to someone who knows who they are, has purpose, and isn’t looking for validation from everyone around them

So maybe “self obsessed” isn’t the right word. Self connected is
