One thing I have realised is fear consumes you as you grow. So much so that you start to paralyse yourself to open towards your life.
And in the blink of time you notice, so much time is gone and now you can hear it's ticking.
You would think if you make that move this move, everything will crumble, so you just decide not to move only. You stay still which is called stuck.
I have learnt that you gotta do it anyway. Why? Because there will not be any moment or time which will come when you will not feel that feeling. That delusion you have is false. It will always be there.
Things can crumble? Yes, they can. But there's also chance it will not. There's also a chance it will not crumble to the extent you are thinking. Am I scared? Yes.
But you gotta do it anyway. Why? Because you have already seen that when you're not doing anything it's also not working in your favour anyway.
So pick the better option. Fuck the fear. Accept it, take it with you and just do it anyway.
Say it will work out. And also if it doesn't, I will work it out from that.

Whew! We made it to the weekend! ππ½ And, we made it through the heatwave! Now, we have a wonderful weather weekend on tap. I, for one, am here for it! Letβs get some high sunshine and low humidity around here. π
I ended my workout week with a two-fer! I started with some functional strength training. I have added more moves, increased weight on some moves, and increased reps on others! Iβm really learning into progress, here.
Then, I finished the week with cardio kickboxing using my sparring gloves (pictured above). I did 3 kicking and punching combos on each side with a high intensity interval in between. This was a lot of fun and I ended up going longer than expected. π
Total calorie burn = 441 kcals π₯
That is 5 for βπ½! Bring on the weekend! βπ½

Thursday:
Happy Thursday! It was so HUMID outside today. π© And, stormy at times. I found myself staying indoors as much as possible. Which was fine, since I have so much to do for my class. So, I made the most of it. And, I made time for a workout out or two!
Today, I expanded my usual functional strength workout to include a couple more moves/sets. I am definitely feeling stronger lately! πͺπ½ It encourages me to keep going for additional progress. I alternated between upper and lower body focused moves; with some compound moves incorporating both.
Then, I jumped right into a HIIT workout! That went a bit longer than I planned because I lost track of time. π My endurance and cardio capacity has also seen some recent increases. Itβs almost the end of the week and Iβm not nearly as sore as I was just a few weeks ago! That alone feels like a big win! ππ½

I only have one more training day left in my schedule before the weekend! βπ½
