Unfortunately, it’s true that when you become “self obsessed” the world starts paying more attention to you

By self obsessed, I don’t mean thinking you’re better than everyone else or making everything about you

I mean becoming deeply invested in your own life. Prioritizing your growth, your health, your goals, your peace, and your happiness. Building a life that excites you instead of constantly wondering what everyone else thinks

Ironically, the less you chase attention, the more magnetic you become. People are naturally drawn to someone who knows who they are, has purpose, and isn’t looking for validation from everyone around them

So maybe “self obsessed” isn’t the right word. Self connected is

Tuesday:

Happy way too hot Tuesday! 😩 Even the dog gave up on hanging outside today. So, it was another day spent most indoors. I had a lot of studying to do for my CEC courses anyhow. Plus, my daughter is working on her course selection for college. There is plenty of things to keep me busy inside!

Somewhere in there, I went out to the garage for my workout session. The temp was pretty good! A/C held it steady at 72 degrees F (22.2 C). I put in 30 + minutes in total body functional strength training and another 30 minutes of step intervals on double risers! 😮‍💨 My lower body is feeling it after that one!

Total calorie burn = 393 kcals 👊🏽

Not bad for way too hot Tuesday! 😂 The rest of the week will be just as hot and the AQI is looking rough. Be safe out there! 🙏🏽
