Thursday:

Oof. Just, kinda a shitty day. ☹️ It’s hot AF, people are being jackasses, and I’m just NOT that girl to let it slide today. It is what it is. But, despite all that, I totally got my workout session done! And, that is a big W for ME (the person I need to start putting first in life).

I started with functional strength training, as I like to do. It went a tad longer today but I was kind of rage lifting, so I just stayed with it! 😂 Then, I took that same energy into a cardio kickboxing routine. Very heavy on the cardio! All that kicking and punching was therapeutic and tiring! 😮‍💨 A tired person is usually a calmer person. So again, I just stayed with it and allowed it to drain me. But, of course, staying hydrated during this heatwave!

Total calorie burn = 378 kcals 😤

As my Granny always would say, this too shall pass! I’m gonna let her wisdom do the rest of the heavy lifting today. 😊
