Like wdym this one fandom was my life for three months and it influenced every thought i had

like a memetic parasite

Latching itself to all my joy receptors so I couldn’t think without it

Just for my obsession to die so quickly

and I’m left with what I used to care about

Poetry is so easy because you can just say whatever and call it poetry and watch the fire burn

I am one of the fire haters you can’t call that shit poetry

like write it with poetry in mind but never call your poetry poetry unless you’re pretentious so I will not call this poetry and instead strongly imply it

because there’s gonna be good fics about it, or like the delicious fanart

I really care more about the fandom than the content

And it’s a new and rising fandom so I don’t have to read the original or whatever

When it’s a wide enough audience I think there’s guaranteed to be peak

Except for orv ion think ive ever read a good orv fic cause ig its since the og is good

But idk like I feel like the fandom being better than the original is sumth people don’t appreciate enough. Like yeah the og is mid but have you read the best thing in your life that sprouted from its rotting corpse

Or just okay stuff idk I don’t care about it but I like watching other people care about it

And the results from that

I lied it’s only when they make it interesting

I pick at the good parts of dead fandoms like a vulture
