My English is a combination of translator and what I learned at school and a lot of other ways (English cartoons, fanfics, surfing Tumblr. Learning new stuffs everyday), so it's all weird. Forgive me if I ever misuse any words? Also my bad grammar (I'll fix them if I notice, mostly, maybe, kinda). Though, now I'm more casual about it than before :3

First thing I think of is that Jake's actually bad at Chinese. I once saw some fanarts of Jake cursing in Chinese, which is hilarious to me because yeah, that's how you learn a language by knowing their curse words first😂He only picked up a couple of words from when his grandpa's training him (likely most are polite scolding because his grandpa's disappointment or anger are easier to read. Or big lessons Jake didn't remember a word about) Also to be exact, it would be Hong Kong-style Cantonese instead of Mandarin

Second, why they have wings while Chinese dragons don't? There're some folklores about dragons hybridizing with different creatures and give birth to hybrid dragons with both sides' features. I guess it could explain it somehow? Jake and Haley are hybrids of Chinese and American blood, after all

When it comes to dragons as protectors...Well, I wish I could just explain with how dragons are great beings in Chinese people's knowledges so it's completely natural for them to be protectors. But how do I put it if they are actually wizards or witches that can turn into dragons...?

Seriously, my imagination is no match for anyone I bump into in Danny Phantom tag. I sometimes read those headcanons and man they're way more interesting

So I assume from what little information we have , The shadow warrior was a Ninja at one point—A HIGHLY skilled one at that(with the techniques he came up with). But something happened that made him go Rouge. I have two ideas on this.

1.He somehow came into contact with the chaos pearls And became infatuated with the power letting it fully corrupt his mind. turning Rouge.

2. He time as he ninja was up. And instead for letting himself be mind wiped. He went on a Rampage using the ninja powers to cause rampage (since we've seen ninja powers can be used without the suit. He'd mostly likely be able to .) the mask was taken from him, it's because he used the techniques he created for harm that they were locked deep in the nomicon. He still managed to get away, staying in the shadows realms. Gaining power and waiting for the day he'd destroy the ninja mask and legacy. Cause if he can't have it no one can.

Sorry this is so long, if they was a season 3 I wished they'd explore the shadow warrior.

What about your thoughts on the shadow warrior?

The corrupted ninja theory sounds interesting! However, I had some completely different ideas! :D

First of all, I take "warrior" for "samurai" instead of ninja, and ninjas and samurais are two different statuses. Usually samurais are considered the bright and good while the ninjas are sneaky and mostly hidden in the shadows. In other words, they're opposite. So when the show considers ninjas as "heroes", the samurais naturally becomes their opponents.

Second, I don't think the forbidden knowledges of the Shadow Warrior are the same dark magic system as chaos pearls. They are clearly consisted of more different fields. With the abundant reserves of knowledges in 2 Halloween episodes, it's almost like there're even more knowledges than what's passed down by past different ninjas.

So, I believe the Shadow Warrior is older than the Norrisville Ninja

What else is also old and mysterious? The Land of Shadow

Two "shadow"? Oh! Why not associate them, I say!

In short, my thought on the Shadow Warrior is that he's an ancient being who holds tons of dark knowledges of different arts, and he was banished and imprisoned in the Land of Shadow. He either invented those arts himself or figured them out little by little when he's immersed in doing some evil stuffs, or both.

I applied the idea in yokai ninja au, btw

Yeah I know it's strange that I keep bringing this comic up even though it's badly done, but I seriously put a lot of efforts and rc9gn headcanons in it I can't help it

A couple of days ago @atlaskaida asked me what my favorite side characters are. When it comes to ADJL, all I could think of is Susan Long, for her little stories and buried in oblivion
