craziest development today don’t feel like typing it out but i context is that there is a machine at work, which needs to heat up to 210 degrees in order to warm glue pellets in a pot to use for adhering strips of veneer to the edge of a piece of plywood. this is called an edgebander basically and its an important machine located behind my desk. For the last like, month or so, my coworker has been cranking a knob 2 force it to stay 210 degrees indefinitely, and then spends up to hours doing other things while it sits at the hi temp. This is a bad idea because 1 it burns tbe the to the inside of the pot, and i have found the crusted up black burnt glue tends to block where the glue comes out. It is very difficult to remove the burnt glue from the bottom of the pot when this happens. You can’t move the glue when it’s cold, because it’s a solid fucking cube stuck to the inside. 2 my boss is too cheap to invest in a proper ventilation system for this machine. Repeated exposure to the fumes is like , dangerous I guess, but im not a sissy . It does give me rly bad headaches after an hour. Also it is really hot, I can feel the heat coming off it while I stand at my desk. I’ve explained all of this to him several times, each time he has responded with increasing hostility or he’s just ignored me. So i just make sure it’s turned off before we go for breaks or if an hour has passed. I know it’s not an accident because every time he walks up to the now cooled-off edgebander an hour later, he acts like he is Elmer fudd and I am bugs buny and I just got him real good. And basically he’s been doing this weird psycho shit for a month and he admitted to doing it on purpose after the machine broke. From being left on high for 9 an entire hour shift. Because he wanted to spite me and I was sick at home. Ya that’s all sorry I said I didn’t want to type much but the context is huge letters I guess
