like fuuuuck I almost lost it at mg coworker i wasn’t even talking to him I was talking to the other one about a shitty restaurant in town. and i mentioned yea all the women I know who have worked there have total horror stories abt that place . And like without skipping a beat he snaps at me like “yeah well men don’t like working in the food industry either” and I turned around flabbergasted like yeah I don’t think ur getting groped in the dish pit bro I was so mad I’m so tired of this shit every day Breh . Ive blogged about my plan to start job searching if the shop hires another misogynist instead of the overqualified woman who applied twice during off-seasons , well new development my boss finally put up a job post, a couple of guys applied and the woman applied again . Boss is on another 2 wk yacht expenditure so probably won’t get much insight for at least another month but our mandatory unpaid summer holiday starts at the end of July so probably waiting longer. I’m sitting inside by myself for lunch for the first time worried im going to be further ostracized 4 perceived coldness (not talking at break has made 1 coworker fully hate me and the other 1 constantly ask if I’m ok or upset about something) it just sucks feeling like i can’t even withdraw from unpleasant conversation without it being turned into more psychological war games smiles like pearl
