أَلَيْسَ اللهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ..؟

Alhamdulillah as bad as the situation is, this Ummah has righteous ‘Ulamaa but the problem is where those people are looking for them. They are looking for them in the wrong places because they are rejected from satellite channels. They are sidetracked and imprisoned by governments who put them down and crush them and promote other ignorant heads, and unfortunately the masses of the Ummah lost the scale of how to find out the genuine ‘Ulamaa from the fake ones.

اللهم صيباً نافعاً ⛈☔️

He is Allah, Yet you do not Love Him?

From the most amazing of matters is that you know Him, yet you do not love Him.

You hear his caller (the Prophet ﷺ) yet you delay in responding to him.

You know the prestige of working for Him, yet you work for those other than Him.

You know the gravity of His Anger, yet you challenge Him.

You taste the harsh reality of disobeying Him, yet you do not seek and long for the delight of obeying Him.

You feel the tightness in your heart when you engage in conversations about other than Him, yet you do not long for the opening of your chest through His Remembrance and having an intimate discourse with Him.

You taste the bitterness of your heart’s attachment to other than Him, yet you do not flee to Him and to the joy of returning to Him.

Ibn ul-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“All the people went astray during the time of Ahmad bin Hanbal رحمه الله except a few individuals and therefore they were the Jamā'ah (the general group of the Muslims). And all the Judges, the Muftīs, the Khalīfah and his followers were astray and Imām Ahmad alone was the Jamā'ah.”

“وقد شذّ الناس كلهم زمن أحمد بن حنبل إلا نفراً يسيراً؛ فكانوا هم الجماعة، وكانت القضاة حينئذ والمفتون والخليفة وأتباعه كلهم هم الشاذون، وكان الإمام أحمد وحده هو الجماعة”

❝Oh Miskīn (poor man)

You’re immoral and you see yourself as Righteous,

You’re Ignorant and you see yourself as Knowledgeable,

You’re Materialistic and you see yourself as Generous,

You’re Foolish and you see yourself as Wise.

Time for you is short, and your expectations are long!❞

Get closer to Allāh The Exalted by hating the people of Irjā‘ (I.e. the Murji'ah).

Imām Ahmad was asked, “Was Ibn Abī Thi’b a Qadārī?” So Imām Ahmad replied, “Whoever would strictly emphasise on sins, the people would (loosely and unjustly) say; This person is a Qadārī.”

«قيل للإمام أحمد بن حنبل: » ابن أبي ذئب كان قدريا؟ فقال : الناس كل من شدّد عليهم المعاصي، قالوا : هذا قدري

And Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) mentions in “Minhaj as-Sunnah”, that due to Al-Hasan al-Basrī being very harsh against sinners, he was accused of being a “Qadārī” (a sect which believes their own actions are created — hence the extra cautiousness).

In “Ad-Durar as-Saniyyah” (8/416), Hamad Ibn ‘Atiq says:

“It’s mentioned from ‘Īsā (عليه السلام) that he said; Attain the love of Allāh between you by hating the sinners, and get closer to Allāh by avoiding them, and seek the pleasure of Allāh by drawing your wrath upon them.”

This is a general ruling, and the way of the salaf to boycott sinners and innovators, but it’s also required from us to determine whether there’s a greater benefit in avoiding them or not. However, if we are to advise them, we don’t take them as friends as it’s also mentioned in Ad-Durar as-Saniyyah.

And at the same time, we need to remember that our intention in boycotting any type of innovator or sinner, is to enable them to make Tawbah and return back to Allāh, whether it may be quitting listening to filthy music, engaging in cursed Riba and so forth. And if they make Tawbah, who are we to refuse it when Allāh has accepted it?!

قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِى إِبْرَهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُواْ لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَءآؤاْ مِّنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَآءُ أَبَداً حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُواْ بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ (…)

Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrāhīm and those with him, when they said to their people: “Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allah, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone (…)”
