MRT is so hassle but it cannot be replaced because it is co-owned by different institutional and individual investors. They will not allow MRT to be replaced because it is an expense they have to bank on. As long as it works, it should be fine. They don’t really care about the welfare of commuters.

We have the slowest and most expensive internet in Asia. Why? We can only move forward as much as our telecom giants allow. Where did the San Miguel-Telstra deal go? Barred. Bc globe and pldt cannot compete. And if they lose, it will affect a huge part of the economy bc they have investments all over.
