I'm not judging your classical knowledge so you don't need to tell me all that. I'm just curious about combos of these specific texts and their popularity, bc a post i just saw got me thinking about it

All fantasy authors wish they had a bigger bathtub in their house. You can tell by every bathing scene ever written into a fantasy novel

#all fantasy authors want to live in one of the houses i clean which is an absolutely bonkers labyrinth of an 80s mansion filled with black #granite and 10 bathrooms several of which have some fantastic bathtubs and stained glass windows and there's at least one secret staircase #also when i was vacuuming under one of the many blue velvet chaise lounges i heard a clang and i was like wtf #and it was a huge ass sword and a dagger #just shoved under there bc the walls are completely covered in other fantastic stuff #there's also 2 grand pianos 4 fireplaces and 5 christmas trees on the main floor #i do worry about accidentally stumbling through a portal in this place and ending up in another dimension
