Okay so great! You’re someone who sees my work at fetish work, awesome. You then prove my point from the last post that it doesn’t matter what I say about my work and whether I take that label or not.
You’re right that I have expressed interests in what I want to draw that do lean fetish and so does that make all my work fetish work? Does it change my previous work knowing that about me? Does it matter? I personally don’t put that label on myself because I don’t really see it as “oh the fetish aspects of my work are the main focus of my art” because it’s just, not. To me at least. But the fact I draw fat people, at all, makes me a fetish artist to a lot of people already. So why the fuck does it matter what label I give myself because people will still determine that for me regardless of what my actual body of work is and I’ve been operating like this long enough that while I have thoughts about it, clearly, the main conclusion I reach is “man I really don’t care, I have work to do”
im a stranger on the internet so my opinion doesnt really hold that much weight and regardless you seem pretty confident in yourself and your interests so i doubt its a lack of conviction push you need and more an personal motivation thing but if it matters at all i love your art already and i personally would be elated to see the boobs artist drawing boobs getting bigger
Oh I’ve definitely wanted to since the whole shit show last month, it’s just mainly been a time thing since comms still take priority and things like giant witch ass in a swimsuit was needed. There’s still a couple more drawings I want to get done for “summer” themed stuff but even those I expect will be after summer is over XD
crazy how people will see you drawing women with normal and lovingly rendered proportions and assume it's fetish art. must be annoying to keep getting those asks, as someone who has been validated in their own body by your art. always love your art, hope you never lose that spark <3
So it’s one of those things where, fetish art can have lovingly rendered proportions and have alot of care put into it. Not all art is going to be to everyone’s tastes, mine certainly isn’t and I have my own limits on what I’m good and not good drawing. I had to grow out of my own phase of “nooooo my art isn’t fetish art!!” Because it’s just a made up parameter that everyone has different limits on.
