My Boss has finally returned back to work and then really pissed me off today and out of frustration i tell him ive got a bone to pick with him but ill wait for tomorrow ~ he said something about dinner, i just want to vent my frustrations regarding stewpid decisions clinicians have made from the moment he went off grid for holiday ++ the trainee nurse has already been told off bc how can she tell the senior receptionist shes not coming into work on monday bc she went thorpe park so shes tired and she doesn’t like working with the children’s dental therapist like that’s NOT a legit reason to call in sick. There’s a handful of us who push through the work day bc we’re grown + team players + if boss on holiday, we can’t get a llocum unless it’s been arranged by him a month in advance

Last Wednesday I had my blood test and lumbar puncture. Yesterday i met with one of the specialists that is on my ophthalmologist’s team and then today my neuro-ophthalmologist called to discuss everything and that he’s going to put me on meds and that he’ll see me after my mri appnt on 28th august (even tho the lovely lady at the front desk said 22nd august over the phone to me) 😅 i had my first mri last march so the second one is going to put me at my limits as it’s going to be hot as hell and i can only ever do weekends in August bc the senior receptionist will be away for most of August and i guess there’s to be A LOT of work and attitude to match that as well from patients and clinicians themselves 🙂 There’s either been a change in my left eye in the last 3 weeks as it didn’t appear on the OCT taken at charring x but now appears on the one i did yday which is odd. I was told that i would be under the care of charring x as i had been under the care of 2 different hospitals and i guess they got their answers at the lp appointment. The fact that they referred to a different MRI centre is very unsual as this one is for specific things and i guess they want a very detailed mri~

Spoke with my other colleague and she straight up told me that she thought she was the only person experiencing dentist not being able to understand/comprehend what she says 🤡 I was like NOPE it happens to me and more often then u think 🥴 I told her about last week when i said “had a rocky start to the morning” and dentist asked me to repeat myself 🙂 I ENUNCIATE like the rest of them and if anything i trill my Rs but weve come to the conclusion that she over here underestimating anyone who she considers below her or has an accent shes not accustomed to 🫩
