Some really quick (10 or so min) palette study. I really just wanted to try so colour combination and that was it
But some of my friends told me they actually love the cats...?? Kinda confused on this one but oh well
Idk what to think of this one.... I wanted to make an abstract sky with oil? Idk what to say.... I need time to think and take a step back
Anyway, it was done quickly, so it doesn't really matter if it sucks. I did something, it's a win in my books
Saw a guy make a impressionistic bonfire with oil on insta. My brain went: yes, of course I want one.
I wanted to try and do a realistic one, without anykind of reference Idk what I expected...? But in the end this first layer became the last. I freaking love it. I always try to do more "illustrated" brushwork and never succeeded until now.
A friend told me the whole layout looks like a instagramable post... so I guess I have to paint in the middle of the night for my brain to say "fuck it" and actually do the satisfying spread?
Anyway, love this one, I'm still riding the endorphin rush~

I had this photo for ages in my phone and suddenly, I felt like THIS was the time to paint it. Out of nowhere. It was time. And what a time it was. I loved it.
It was my first time actually trying to paint on textile (cotton I believe?), also trying to stop overworking my paintings
Anyway, my mother recognised the poster, she said she used to drink "the Maggi". Like it was supposed to mean something to me ahaha
I think I'm going to call it
"The Maggicat", oil on cotton, may 2026
Enjoying a long weekend to paint and finally take in some vitamins through photosynthesis !
I bought this watercolour sketchbook on a field trip in Paris (the lady insisted I was granted a "professional artist" reduction because I had been talking to her partner (?) for most of an hour. So sweet). Anyway, I thought this little thing could help me do some easier oil paintings, some low expectations and low pressure paintings. Lol. Sure.

Spring is HERE β¨οΈπ»β¨οΈ
To mark the equinox I spent my afternoon painting some mimosa ~
I do find that you can really play on the shine of a painting with oils. I'm trying to get better at contrasts and values. It's so hard when half of my mixing palette becomes muddy. Anyway, it was fast and easy, everything I needed !
A master study of a Russian artist, Alexander Dashevsky. His work is.. definitely weird asf. But I love this body.
I love "copying" small parts of bigger pieces that had an impact on my own journey. It's like I'm getting a small part of their talent and keeping them on my shelves. They will not be lost in any kind of doomscrolling on my watch !
Small oil painting of Firenze's iconic bridge. I painting out of a photo I took when I did a roadtrip there a few years ago. I don't know if I did it justice but it was so pleasant trying to convey the warmth of the original place mid June.
I wish I could go back there. Definitely my favourite Italian city I visited. It was just cosy, full of art and human size (compared to Rome ofc).
