Okay these questions are too cool I’m taking multiple drinks. :)
🧜♀️Shadowed Depths (Salty burnt caramel mixed with soda water sprinkled with blue sugar crystals. Served in a carved oak goblet): What out-of-your-usual genre or subject did you dive into reluctantly? Or perhaps very willingly… >:D
okay. *side eyes 68k word hockey fic* yeah I think you know how im gonna answer this one.
Listen. I am not a sports person. At all. I played soccer (⚽️ <- that one) when I was younger and have done some softball. Watching sports? only done when I’m dragged to local baseball games.
this year watching hockey is the first time I’ve followed professional sports. I mean it. Before like six months ago I could’ve named a total of one nhl player and did not know Pwhl even existed.
all that being said, writing tens of thousands of words for a game I still barely understand the rules of has been. Interesting. Good interesting!
if you’d told last year Romeo that they’d write over 30k words in a hockey au, they would’ve looked at you like you were insane.
☕The Legendary Tumblr Fist-Bumpin Lesbians (caramel latte with too many shots of liqour): Who is your most unapologetically queer story/character?
no for stories probably Families and Their Sensitivities.
i mean Bea, Sammy, Aspen, and ace are all trans. And various other forms of queer. And Emily is queer too.
for characters? Uhh. Aspen. Enby, pan and ace. They will be showing up to pride with a giant ace flag tied around their neck like a cape.
🌌Starry Night (sparkles with hints of blue, served in a frosted glass with a star-topped stir stick): Where did your writerly journey begin? Do you remember? Tell us about your first writings.
Oh okay that would be the absolutely atrocious Violet and Ingrid. (I’ve always been bad at story names. Clearly) I was seven and it’s the first story I remember writing.
Grammar is basically thrown out the window and there is like three paragraph breaks. It’s a hot mess. Only has like four lines of dialogue.
like cmon past Romeo what the heck is this
safe to say that I’ve improved after all these years!
