Aria turned her eyes in the direction of the human woman and looked at her narrowly for a moment before accepting the datapad. “And we haven’t been able to ID him?” She glanced over the readouts casually, jerking her head to indicate O’Reilly should sit down.

She’d honestly been expecting that this Archangel who was giving the mercs so much trouble was probably a rogue merc himself, like that bounty hunter Massani who prowled the corridors here and there occasionally. But Aria’s organization kept pretty close tabs on the membership of the main merc bands; if they couldn’t ID this guy, he almost certainly wasn’t Blue Suns, Eclipse, or Blood Pack.

"How’d you obtain this?" she asked the other woman, gesturing with the datapad. "Did you meet him?"

Shae almost laughed at the suggestion, but remembered who she was talking to and stifled herself. She merely sat with Aria’s suggestion. “No, I didn’t even get close to him. No one can. He’s a sniper. Been taking out every idiot dumb enough to walk into his crosshairs.” She pressed a few buttons on her omnitool and pulled up a live security feed of the hotel Archangel had been set up in. “Here. I called in a favor and had a guy hack into the hotel’s security feed. We can’t ID him ‘cuz he never takes off his helmet.”

No one had a clue who this guy was. The only information had been that a small group of vigilantes had been taking out mercenaries and all sorts of crooked individuals for a few weeks now. Shae, and most of the people she’d spoken to about it, assumed “Archangel” was one of them.
