tryst, you cannot take this cuteness away from me by insisting bacta’s bothering her. this is just too cute. also, like, 100% get that lyn doesn’t consider bacta her best friend (lbr she still has a much bigger world than a lot of the mynock crew at this point, but esp bacta, given that most of his pre-mynock friends are dead or presumed dead at least).

Watching Rebels, Season 3, Episode 1 and noticed this: 

Ezra has a poster/book/comic in his quarters. I tried to find a more detailed version and …

Dang if that doesn’t look like a stylized version of Obi-Wan!! And the resemblance isn’t as close, but I could also buy the woman being a depiction of Satine.

Apparently, in real life, the poster seems to have been inspired by some early concept art of Han Solo:

But considering “Han” has a lightsaber in that image, I feel like it makes the parallel even more intentional. In the Rebels poster, the male hero has a blaster, but the unbroken beam coming out seems to recall a saber.

So excuse me, but now I’m picturing that some in-universe screenwriter/filmmaker heard of Obi-Wan and Satine’s story (maybe the rumors surrounding their year on the run) and integrated those rumors into the characters in their (perhaps underground, anti-Imperialist?) film. It’s funny that this would have been before the Battle of Yavin, but the poster has the binary star and Death Star imagery. 

(I wonder what Vader thinks when he sees this…)
