The version of you right now is deserving of love. Not you two years ago when you had more of your shit together, or the five years later version where you’ll surely be thriving. The version of you right now. The one that might just be okay, or is really struggling, or is bored and unproductive. That version deserves love. Having trouble accepting this is fine, but actively denying it is not. Your value is intrinsic, and finding confidence in that is mandatory.

just so we're clear, saying "wow this feels like we're in north korea/afghanistan/syria/venezuela/pakistan/[insert another country in the global south]" is racist and orientalist. this is happening here, in the united states, and if you had your head out of your ass you'd know that 250 years of white supremacy and genocide and capitalism and colonial violence and imperialism have led up to this moment. the united states did not only ALLOW this to happen here, the united states created this and has been enacting fascism since it was created.

police literally dragged disabled protestors out of the capitol when they were doing a sit-in for healthcare and teargassed + shot blm protestors marching for human rights but try to deescalate and take selfies w armed insurrectionists and people still want to act like the police don’t exist specifically to enforce oppressive systems
