It's Truer Than True

Are all the babies about the same age, or are there still some age differentials even when they're de-aged? And if it's the latter, who is the oldest, who is the youngest?

Do the babies remember their adventures and why they're here, or do they think they just popped into this random forest with this random man+7 other kids and start crying for their parents/guardians?

Is Wind frantically trying to get back home "because Aryll will miss me!!"? Does he try to aggressively big brother everyone else even if they might look older than him?

Does Wild suddenly start chatting happily about his mom/dad/younger sister, information nobody realized he remembered, and Warriors is like

when he realizes the implications?

Who is the tattletale/suck up in this group of chaotic gremlins?

What are the new dynamics of the group once 8/9 Links are much more immature/on a leveler playing field? Does someone rise to the top as a natural leader? Does the group split into cliques or do they all get along equally? Are there any loners? Do some of the boys look at one of the other ones and decide they are now mortal enemies for whatever reason?

Who is Warriors' favorite child? He has one, I'm sure, even if he's legally obligated to keep it to himself. (It's Wind, isn't it.)

Well, I wasn't sure, but I guess we're making the papa Warriors AU (not a final name... or is it)

I thought that making them different ages would be the most fun, and I kinda went random with them, although Wind still ended up the youngest. I want him to be a toddler to really mess with Warriors hehe (but didn't want to make all of them toddlers to give him a chance to survive). So, in my head it's roughly like this for now: Wind is 1-2; Wild, Hyrule and Legend are 6-7; Sky, Four and Time are 8-9; and Twilight is 11 (Wars gotta get at least some help!)

I really like what Nevermatch did in THE FIC EVER, where they know who Warriors and the rest are, but don't realize that they are adults turned into kids. However, since my goal is to torture the Captain, making all of their minds reverse to their physical ages sounds the most appealing >:) And it also makes me think of how their interactions would change if they didn't know each other and haven't gone through all of the horrors (only some). So yeah, I guess some of them would remember the adventures they already went through by this age (Four, Time, Hyrule, MAYBE Legend but I'm not sure, I think he was older in his first adventure). I did give Four his colorful tunic without thinking much tbh, now that it's turning into a whole Thing I might change it to plain green one from MC. Or not. Imagine if he casually picks up his sword and splits, and THAT'S how Warriors finds out that he can do that. AND YES, despite some of them already being seasoned travelers, I do think that they would get confused and overwhelmed, and would probably call for their guardians

I guess I have to say no here, since Wind is a toddler. I really like this though, I might change my mind.

YES, OMG, I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT!! I was thinking about a scenario where Warriors is really struggling trying to calm down baby Wind, Wild does something that actually helps and then goes "Oh yeah, my mama does this for my little sister" and now it's Warriors who's having a meltdown.

I gotta say Twilight lol, but he's got good intentions! He's just a very responsible and social one, and he's genuinely worried for everyone. Legend would definitely call him a snitch though, maybe Four too depending on a situation (especially with him now having a partner in crime).

You probably guessed it, but Four and Time are best friends, they're just all I can think about, my precious babies... While they both would be a little guarded in the beginning, as soon as Four finds out that they have something in common/just finds out something interesting about Time, HOOOOO BOY, he's never gonna stop talking. Time feels very safe and comfortable around Four, seeing him being a hero but not being afraid/ashamed of being emotional and childish when he wants to. Wild and Rulie are also good buddies, always sneaking out into the forest together, with Legend joining because "they're gonna get themselves killed". I feel like Sky would keep to himself, but he likes it that way! Wind is always with the Captain (Wars is TERRIFIED of letting him out of sight), but is very curious about the shenanigans of the rest. Twilight watches everyone when Wars can't, but I think, much like in the main story, he would get along with Sky the best

TIME TIME TIME TIIIIIIIME

Remember how I said that I had to redraw Sky five times?..

Well, this handsome man here had NINE concepts. NINE. That's like- all of the Links together!! And I'm only talking about the Old Man one, I haven't even touched the OoT Adult Link yet (I'm waiting to see him in the remake teehee)

Once again, huge thanks to @notahorseiswear for the idea of combining two styles of armor. Absolutely genius. It was still hard to adapt his full suit of armor in the universe where those don't appear much, but at least I had something to work with

Notes on the design:

Generally it does combine styles of two nations (water and fire). But factually, eeeeeh

That loose cloth underneath the armor comes from the Fierce Deity design that I haven't finished yet, but already have an overall image in my mind. The markings are also from Fierce Deity, they are a combination of the marks on the Painted Lady and marks of the Water Tribe (mark of the brave and mark of the wise specifically)

Fierce Deity is a Moon Spirit that he temporarily merged with during his second adventure. That is also when and why he got the markings. He got the scar much later

There are more marks on that half of his body, and the other half appears when he enters the Avatar state

The hairpin is actually a half of a hairpin. Malon has the other one

The kid design is unchanged except for the arm wrappings, there's only one now. There is a reason, but I am still playing with it so i might change it back

My stupid ass drew his scar on the wrong side because I'd been intensely staring at a picture of Zuko (as a hair reference) the entire time. It doesn't have anything to do with the design but I thought it was funny

It’s Red from @breannasfluff’s WingBois AU on Ao3 (go read it), with my own twist with the clothes bc I wanted to be extra idk man I just felt like the colours deserved their own clothes and this look just fit Red

I was so hyped after watching Nintendo’s latest Wii U Zelda’s reveal trailer that i had to draw it,especially since i saw a lot of similarities to Princess Mononoke. Anyways,here’s an early tribute piece,enjoy!

I took some.. creative liberties with Sheerow’s design

((this wasn’t what i was planning to work on but this doodle got away from me and turned into this))

imagine Sky peacefully falling asleep surrounded by kids and grandkids and Sun, only to open his eyes in an unfamiliar land. except he's been here before, this is Four's era! and look, it's Four! but a much smaller version of the smithy he knew. he tries to call out but suddenly becomes aware of his ghostly form and it's inability to form words. no matter, if this is the time and the place and the hero he knows, Sky will do everything he possibly to help his brother. it's nothing major. just a rustle of the grass when he's looking for rupees, a few seconds of extra strength fighting enemies. a redbird's song warning of a storm, a ghostly hug the boy(s) will never feel after the final battle with shadow...you know. at one point, Four does disappear for a few months. Sky's not worried though. he knows exactly where and when his boys are.
