also i think i did my name/gender marker change slightly too late to be able to not have F on my license anymore ... i got X on my birth certificate but i couldn't get it on my social security card change which was just a couple weeks later & the dmv employee didn't even ask if i wanted to change it on my license. having any gender markers is stupid and we should just get rid of them but like whatever i'll play along i just want my stupid X but i dont know that i even can anymore. Whatever

Decided to take a new pic for my new license with my updated name and it's maybe the worst photo anyone's ever taken of me. i look drunk & high & like i've been crying & my face is red and splotchy & i have a bit of a double chin because i was looking slightly down at the camera. I think DMV employees get a sick pleasure out of taking pictures like this in the same way starbucks employees get off on spelling your name as wrong as possible

i got like fully jumpscared in a dream last night. i was cleaning this little room & opened a metal hatch and there was just like a completely normal old woman there with her face pressed right up against it. she made a weird noise and scared me so bad i actually woke up irl and shouted out loud in surprise
