i remembered i still have my lace tape for battenberg lace that i bought years ago & i was like Fuck let's try that again that sounds fun. and it turns out needle lace is really hard and tiring when you don't have 450mg of wellbutrin and 27mg of methylphenidate going into you daily and blasting your brain so hard you develop ocd-like 24/7 obsessive interest in your fiber hobbies + ocd intrusive thoughts about everybody you love dying & also seeing omens and signs in everything that mean your house is for sure going to burn down if you aren't really careful

So basically like i can't make needle lace anymore without feeling vaguely wired and on edge
