Future Imperfect

This seems to be the default pose for me to draw them in- If you havn't seen the last post, I have been spurred onto being a little more intentional with my art style taking Kentaro Miura as inspiration. Needless to say I am further awed by that man and what he was capable of. Point aside I'm kinda happy with how they are turning out so far. It's already made me realise I draw way too small and my abillity to add detail that isn't blurry is squandered due to that. I need to play around with pen sizes more and flex a bit more with different shades and techniques because it really makes things pop compared to the usual!

And a lil alt because I kinda thought it was cool but kinda not? The all black tests I did a while ago were sick but doing it while he's wearing black clothes too was... a struggle. But lemme know what y'all think o/

A little gift for my friend @aychama. Sunnova'gun took the medieval theme before I could get to it >:( Jokes aside I just wanted to draw their lamb, Lambert! Recently I delved back into reading Berserk and it really inspired me to mess around a bit more with how I draw. I wanted to emphasise detail, make use of more contrasting amounts of black and white and wanted to return to my roots a little with some actual armor and weapons which Lambert certainly posesses! I mean have you seen their biceps? 👁️

Hellooo, today I bring you cute idle animations of CoTL x Limbus Company style, that I've made recently ! We got Lamb, Narinder, Aym, Baal... and my Tiger ? This is the first half of a project to make cool animated cutscenes soon You can check them up early on my Patreon and support me there ! Gonna use those to redecorate my Tumblr as well (also ask me if you want to use them) It was A LOT of work, but honestly very fun to design in this style, especially Narinder scythe and the kittens ! Sidenote it's kinda neat seeing the difference between Canon!Aym and Baal and Crimson Angel! Aym and Baal-obviously their ages are massively one thing, since the boys in canon are adults or late teens while in my AU they're 11, but outfit wise too.

In Crimson Angel I got the twins in simpler, kinda squire-looking outfits partially drawing from young Link with the shorts/tunics. Trims were added since I like to think that's just a general style note for their world now, having detailed trims on garments. Aym has the moon, while Baal the alchemical version of the sun symbol. The boys also don't have the red sclera yet since in my AU the red of their limbs is meant to mirror Narinder's necrosis whilst in the gateway, with it slowly creeping up as his condition worsens. Had it been a few centuries more it would've started to reach their eyes to turn them red too, but at the moment only their irises had turned red, likely more due to Narinder's magic forcing their aging. Personality-wise they're kinda like post-resurrection canon, where Baal is very cheerful and happy, while Aym tends to be pouty trying to act tough-but they're a lot more hopeful and innocent. They're guards in training, not fully taking on the mantles yet.
