Sieg contently tucks himself into Berserker's chest, snuggling in a bit shamelessly. “Sorry...that mission ended up lasting longer than expected.” a lot longer than expected. the familiar feeling of his arms around him and the sound of his voice was comforting.

    “If you keep glaring at me, I’ll pluck out your eyes, and make them stare at your eyeless form, boy.”  There’s no hiding his irritation, as tired blue eyes sharpen into a glare to return to the mage.  His low voice sounds hoarse and scratchy, making it clear he hadn’t spoken in some time.  His two beasts had gone off to search for things to make camp, and he’s almost envious of their stamina.  

Glaring...had he been? He supposed maybe. After all, it had been a while since he’d been this pissed off. “I don’t really need my eyes, so do what you want.” What a strange comment...of course Lucilius didn’t know most of time he kept his eyes covered, so much so that Kaede had thought he was blind for months.

     reverent  hands  gingerly  lift  the  plate  up ,  as  though  it  was  a  culinary  masterpiece  ( which  it  is ,  in  her  eyes ,  at  least ) .    ❛  i  feel  like  i've  been  getting  spoiled  lately …  ❜    she  mumbles  under  her  breath ,  guilt  lacing  the  appreciation  she  has .  after  all ,  it's  a  waste  of  supplies  &  energy ,  in  all honesty .  there's  no  point  in  eating  &  drinking ,  other  than  for  her  own  enjoyment ,  which  isn't  an  important  thing . she's  being  as  selfish  as  ever , she  supposed ,  indulging  herself  this  time  as  well  &  taking  a  spoonful  of  the  cake .
