    if maya’s really honest with herself, getting winked at isn’t exactly on the list of things she was super used to having happen for her. if anything, it would have been way over on the list of things that basically never happened.

     but hey, here she was having it happen anyway. and she really doesn’t know how to react except for covering half of her bashful face ( and smile ) with one hand while her other nervously dug her nails into her opposite elbow. it was a dream, right? this never happens in real life.

she was cute. and her immediate reaction to a simple wink did nothing but enforce that fact. honestly, he was just happy that he didn’t receive a slap to the face in the response to his slightly creepy advance. it wouldn’t be the first time and... you’d think he would have learned by now to stop it.
