Sweet thing, but she play to win
Really, the only reason Riruka wasnāt more distressed by the sudden decapitations was because she considered it well-deserved for their treatment of her. The young womanās perspective on that front is a bit skewed and she is aware, but righteous anger overwrites any sympathy or distress she might feel over what just happened. Stopping by one of the corpses, she pats it down, retrieving a piece of parchment and a wallet, relieving it of what funds it has before tossing it behind her to disintegrate. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Sidestepping the Servantās trail of blood, she nevertheless follows after his long strides. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The fact that he seems to have no trouble getting past the traps that had taken her so much effort to sneak past isnāt lost on her. Galling as it is, however, she canāt be too irritated by it. After all, sheās expending very little personal effortā even if this is, once again, far more attention than sheād wanted to draw. As soon as they were someplace they could lie low (and sheād have to make a call about that soon) sheād have to talk to him about what his definition of ādiscreetā seemed to be. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āMy like? Donāt go lumping me in with these trashy wastes who think spending all their time in their elitist little tower makes them worthwhile.ā Never mind that sheād thought theyād b better than they were. But thy were still (in her humble opinion) not much compared to her. āIām not big on combat though, so I work best in ambush situations.ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The question gives her a pause, and she turns to him with her eyebrows rising slowly in obvious confusion. Then she shrugs, eyes closing, and tosses her hands up in indifference.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI didnāt exactly stop to ask what they were summoning something for, you know,ā she replies, lifting a brow at him. āKind of busy trying not to get murdered and all that. Or worse. Iām sure itāll be easy to find out though. I just have to make a few calls first.ā
Of course. The person to be his Master would be someone like this. Arrogant. Self-serving. Someone with their nose pointed so high they couldnāt see whatever would be in front of them. And even worse, she didnāt even know what his presence even meant. What was it for? Looking at his hands, he could feel something was off. Nonetheless, Excalibur would dissipate from his grasp as he walked past the bodies of fallen mages. They simply had the wind knocked out of them.
It was sad that even the slightest exposure to his prana would incapacitate them. Even in this world, there should be mages that could compete with him as a heroic spirit. As he guided his Master to the exit of the Clock Tower, he would continue past the exit. In full garb and armor, he would walk past civilians even. Did this servant have any sense of tact at all? Eventually, he would come to a stop at a table outside a small cafe.
Sitting in the metal chair would cause some rather uncomfortable noises to occur from it scraping against his suit of armor. Even if Riruka decided to order him into his spirit form, one look at his face would tell her that wouldnāt happen. As people walked by and stared, Arthur would close his eyes. The mid-afternoon sun felt quite nice. It was good to know the place which contained Camelot was comfortable.
āYou no longer need to worry about being murdered, Master. So if you would, please make your calls. Iād rather not fight within the city in broad daylight...but a few hundred casualties for the grail isnāt all too uncommon.ā
The King of Knights would rest his head on his armored hand and wait for his next set of orders. But in the meantime, a waitress would walk by with a nervous look on her face. Who in their right mind would want to help the intimidating armored man. And before she could even ask what the pair would like, he would open his eyes to acknowledge her existence.
āHot chocolate. Two shots of espresso.....please.ā
Quite the odd and almost childish order, but the woman would comply before running back into the cafe.
