It was almost like I could feel it. Like I could feel him there. Like I knew, just knew he was following my every move. It was so hard to get rid of him. He wouldn’t go away.
The man that had bumped into me on the street. Gone.
The woman who said red wasn’t a color for me. Gone.
A child who simply stared for too long.
Now missing. Most likely never to be found again Poor thing.
I knew what he was doing. So I’d make it a game harder for him to play. Today, I was going to the Happy Hotel. I needed to get a certain someone to insult me.
“ Knock knock.” I say, opening the door to the hotel to see familiar faces. Charlie stands there with Vaggie and both smile upon seeing me. Sitting on a couch behind them was Angel Dust, who was currently enjoying a popsie. At the bar, as usual, was Husk, and sweeping the area infront was sweet Nifty.
“ Y/n! It’s good to see you.” Charlie said, smiling wide as she made her way over to hug me. Just as she did, I could feel the, uneasy, presence, leave me. As it did, Alastor appeared near Nifty.
“ It’s good to see you too Charlie. I wanted to come by and ask for your opinion on a few outfits.” I said to Charlie, before picking up a small bag near me and opening it to show her a preview of the contents inside.
“ Of course Y/n, if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the occasion?” Charlie asked. At this, I smirked and proudly said.
“ I, have a date tonight.” I said, and it didn’t take long before Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Dust, and Nifty were around me asking for details. Questions like “ Who is he? She? It?” and “ What’s he like?” made themselves common.
In truth, I did actually have a date tonight, but I had little to no interest in him. He was a con-man, only interested in money and was now on the look for a trophy wife. I would not be that someone.
I stopped in front of Husk, using this time to really make Alastor tick.
“ Husk, I’m gonna need your opinion too. For a male perspective of course.” I said, before Angel Dust protested.
“ Am I not masculine enough for you toots?” Angel dust asked, before I simply chuckled and waved him off.
“ Of course you are, but another opinion couldn’t hurt.” I respond, before going into one of the spare bedrooms to change.
This was going to be fun.
“ Too flashy, where are you two going that you got all these?“ Ángel Dust asks, as he picks up the different dresses all laid out. The particular dress he had picked up, was one I would never wear, but got it for the soul purpose to mess with Alastor. He had his shadows following me for some time now, and even though it creeped me out, I refused to just let him follow me around. Not without messing with him first.
“What about this one?” I asked, before Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Nifty and Husk all went quiet. It was odd, seeing them like this. I sighed. “ If it looks bad you can say that.” I say, turning around on my heel, when I bump into someone.
“ May I have a word with you, Y/n?”
Maybe this was a mistake.
