It's almost like regional variation or delta forms but temporary, and unlike Mega Evolution, any Pokémon can do it!

You hit the play button.

It's immediately clear that this video is very different than any of the others, the sound of air rushing past the microphone is prominent, almost overwhelming.

For the first few moments, only Axew's bright red eyes are visible.

The little dragon chirps to his trainer as he allows the camera (presumably a Rotom Phone) to fly up in front of the young researcher, revealing Axew perched on Owl's shoulder and the strange, metallic purple Pokémon they're riding as the landscape flies by. Owl doesn't look up, laser-focused on guiding their mount. "Owl here." Their tone is uncharacteristically serious. "Look, there's something bad happening on Kitakami. If anything happens to me, I've been taking notes on my phone, my research will survive even if-"

Axew growls, looking past the camera as the motorbike-esque Pokémon speeds onto a narrow path suspended over a sheer drop. The dragon launches himself forward from his trainer's shoulder as they come to a screeching halt.

The camera turns to reveal several more unknown Pokémon, a handful of which turn their attention to Owl and their partner. They slowly close in on the duo, baring their teeth and narrowing their eyes.

"Wish us luck."

The video ends.
