man i hate being one of those roleplayers who can’t just…. easily discard and pick up plots and characters. i have plots/dynamics that have been inactive for YEARS and will very likely never get picked up again that i still think about and miss. when i genuinely love a plot/pairing it’s forever you could come to me in 10 years asking if i’d still like to write them and i’d say yes. and i hate it sm makes me feel like an idiot.

It’s also worth noting that in a world where magic can do your work for you, Hufflepuffs are scoffed at for being willing to work at all, and Slytherins are shunned for taking advantage of magic to it’s fullest.

yo someone msged me about the “negativity” in this post and i just want to say that the negativity you find in it isn’t directed at anyone in particular/my former writing partners. if anything it’s directed at myself. maybe my former partners still think about our plots/characters too (and if they do, that’s awesome and hopefully we can pick them up again one day), maybe they don’t, either way, even if they bailed on me out of nowhere/left the hanging (which sucks beyond words), they don’t “own” me anything.
