Having grown up in a wealthy family, Naveen was always taught by the best of the best when it came to schooling. Not that he listened to all of them, but he did pay attention when it came to languages and music. Because he found those things impressed other people and made flirting a little more interesting. So he knows a few languages and how to play even more instruments, though stringed instruments are his specialty.
Naveen can come across as extremely arrogant and he is. Decades of positive attention and growing to think youâre the best can do that to you. He does, however, know deep down that he has faults beyond that and is terrified of others seeing them for who he really is.
He really is a romantic. Heâll go out of his way to make grand gestures, even though they sometimes just want to impress people so they can hook up. Usually thereâs very little genuine feeling behind his acts when it comes to these gestures, but he knows people love them and itâs almost a surefire way to make someone fall for you quick. At least in his eyes.
Naveen loves all music but old jazz and swing music hold a special place in his heart from when he was a kid and heâd listen to them with his grandparents. He has several old records that he blasts on a record player in his apartment whenever heâs had a night where heâs had a little too much to drink, much to the dismay of his neighbors.
Heâs still extremely carefree and really goes through life with the attitude that he can charm his way out of anything. And itâs gotten him pretty far in life, so why stop trying that now?
One of his biggest regrets with Iâm cut off from his family is that heâs not as close with his brother anymore. Sure, thereâs a huge age gap between them, but it still is a little sad to him that theyâre more like distant acquaintances or almost strangers rather than brothers.
His work ethic is less than stellar but he blames that on not having to do work for most of his life.
Being a frog isnât great, though as heâs gotten used to it, itâs not as bad as he thought it might be. Heâs been dealing with it for a while now, and heâs gotten pretty used to it. Itâs only really a problem in the winter when itâs freezing and dry everywhere. Itâs bad for his skin.
Heâs learned a lot about frogs and other amphibians ever since getting cursed. Itâs probably the most heâs actually tried to learn about something in a long time.
Heâs generally a positive and optimistic person, but some of it comes from ignorance and a little naivety of how messed up the world can be since he spent most of his life in a position of wealth and power where the worst consequences he would suffer was not being able to drive one of his fatherâs luxury cars for a week.
He still likes to live life with some luxury which is hard when he mostly just works odd jobs here and there. Thankfully heâs gotten pretty good at charming his way into getting a few nice things or free drinks on nights out.
He doesnât take anything quite as seriously as he should because once he starts to, things get stressful and he has to actually think about his actions and feelings which is always stressful and almost always leads to him getting lost in his thoughts and fears of not actually being good enough or the persona he puts out into the world and how people probably donât actually like him, just his money and notoriety, and it all often ends with him spiraling for a bit.
