I’m hoping that this post will give you a start! In it I’ve included creators that I found when I first joined the Sanders Sides fandom to as recent as December and deserve, in my opinion, to have more people looking at and sharing their work. I was given permission by them to include their urls and works of both their choice and mine which will be linked, as well as masterposts and AO3s. I didn’t ask about this but if I saw creators had any info for commissions I linked to that as well (if you want it removed or if you have info that you’d like included please let me know) so please support them via commissions or reblogging the info! Let it also be noted that I’ve included an nsfs blog on this list and that is expressed when their name comes up. 

I’m hoping for this to become something people can look at to find others that share their interests, for creators to boost creators and an incentive for content consumers to share their favorites. Making sure creators feel appreciated and that the things they work so hard on can be reblogged and spread is something I think is important to work towards this year. So!! If you are someone who was tagged in this post, or you see this, please feel free to tag your own blogs or the blogs of creators you love- and if you’re feeling fancy and have time link a favorite work as well! Kick this year off by showing some appreciation for those who work incredibly hard to make content they and others love for the community!

@5am-the-foxing-hour is a writer and artist with a very extensive masterlist! They also have an AO3 they put their written work on. He didn’t give me anything specific to link to, so I get to do it! She writes a lot of Sides + Thomas content, both romantic and platonic, one of my favorite’s being: Thomas Ship Week Day 1 a sweet Roman x Thomas movie night fic. If you’re looking for angst might I suggest: The Hummingford. They also make some really nice art such as Frog and Kiddo Patton, Pillow Fights, and this Janus Drawing.

@ace-in-a-shopping-cart is primarily an analogical author who just recently finished a Little Mermaid AU with her own creative twist: Jewel of the Sea and is in the process of creating its sequel which I am very excited for. Dance With Me Under the Stars is a recent oneshot they wrote absolutely beautifully and I Can Hear Your Voice is a personal favorite of mine. They have a masterpost and AO3 to navigate all their works and recently made a side ask blog @the-prince-and-the-smith.

@a-ghostlight-for-roman makes incredible art that I really love! Ith gave me Purple eye shadow Virgil and a Virgil DTIYS to link. My own personal favorites of its are his recent Don’t Starve Virgil, skirt Logan and this Janus drawing. Ith also has a side ask blog for Remus @dailyremuses.

@animalguides-au is an alternate universe ask blog that’s on hiatus right now but has a really cool art style with an intriguing story with impeccable comedic timing my gosh. They have a masterlist if you’d rather not scroll to the bottom of the blog for the story and I really love the way he draws Janus and Remy for it, though Virgil’s reveal was amazing and something you’ll have to go to the blog and experience yourself.

@atlasistryingherbest -a writer, artist and singer for her work Shatter Me, a Patton centric story that brings emotional hurt and burdens to light in a way that’s dangerous to keep secret. Fae made art for it as well and even wrote and performed a song for it with a lovely voice. They have an AO3 as well if it’s easier to read stories using that!

@birdsongisland is an artist I only recently followed but I fell in love with their art very quickly. They make Sanders Sides fanart and gave me Virgil in a gown, Patton in a gown (though all of them are pretty) and a Janus DTIYS to link to, along with a cute little Chibi Virgil and a short haired Virgil. They have a lot of original art such as Nonbinary Fairytale, Chromatic Aberration and a cosplay redraw. Their Glowy Logan and recent 1k DTIYS are a couple of my own favorites. They also have commissions if you’d like to support them and reblogging the post is just as helpful!

@booknerd-23 has quite a few fics in their collection to pick from! They’re partial to Brave and Moments -both lovely prinxiety fics- and if you’re looking for Roman angst they have A Heart Can be Broken  a post POV fic where Roman breaks down and only pushes the other away as they try to help. My own favorite of theirs is their logicality fic Lucky Stars a logicality songfic based on Lucky Stars by Lucy Spraggan . All of vaer works are also on vear AO3!

@eliemo who’s been writing a lot for their wonderful Learned Behavior au, a telling of Virgil’s past trauma with the dark sides and how everyone including Janus, Remus and Thomas help him try and recover when they find out; of which my current favorite is Living in Denial. They also write one shots which they gave me Heart of Ice to link to and I’d also like to recommend Love Our Way. Their works are also available on their masterpost and AO3. 

@hetacon has a Dogfight au they recommended , specifically the character sheets of which I found Roman’s and Virgil’s which I really like the designs for, as well as the prologue for Prom Queen and his Logan Parr piece. I found her through her New Years, Same Fears fic about Virgil’s feelings surrounding a new year beginning and her Celestial Logan drawing which I would also recommend looking at!

@its-all-ineffable who’s stories are available on her AO3, just created her first Sanders Sides fanfic with an advent calendar this past December which I absolutely loved and gave me a lot of comfort during the holidays. She recommended her I Am Woman fanfic, an appreciation fic for female characters from a multitude of fandoms that the author is in and is an amazing collection of stories she worked incredibly hard on.

@kieraelieson is writer who wanted her first fanfic, More Than the Sum of Our Parts linked, an au in which all of the sides have animal traits and its easiest for all of them to shapeshift into the animal they get their traits from. My personal favorite part from this is Showing Thomas, purely because of how happy everyone is. I found her through her Centaur au that I still very much enjoy. To see more of her works she has an AO3 and if you’d like to support her she also has a Kofi, both of which are linked in her pinned post of important links to navigate her pages.

@leduke-o-spook recommended his Dark Side of Logic story to link to, a story detailing Logan’s frustrations and eventual last push to the dark side, which i what I found his content through. He’s also written Homework Symbiosis, another Logan centric story which seems to have endgame Logince in mind with very well done character dynamics in place despite only having one chapter.

@lilith-lovett has a wonderful story titled Home is Where the Hart Is, a found family story in which Patton adopts Logan out of an abusive orphanage with the help of Maggie- a teacher at the orphanage. The rest of the story details Logan settling into his new home with Patton and the other kids: Roman, Virgil and Dee and Emile (Patton’s best friend) Dot and Larry ( Emile’s parents) working to make Logan feel welcome in their family. It’s honestly one of the most heartwarming adoption fics I’ve read to date.

@logans-library has an extensive collection of fics ranging from angst to fluff and anything else in between. He recommended Good Evening, Gorgeous- a Royality soulmate fic for those wanting fluff and an Analogical songfic for angst it was particularly proud of. I personally very much enjoy its lighthearted YouTube au. Here is a post detailing his tagging system and request info.

@maybedefinitely404 is someone I found recently through their hurt/comfort fic I Can’t Leave in which Janus helps Remus when his intrusive thoughts get to be too much. Not Your Typical and American Dream as well as their 2020 Soulmate September works are also very well thought out and written and can be found with their other stories on their masterlist.

@not-safeforsanders is primarily a nsfw writer so minors please do not interact. He recommended a tamer story of theirs to link from AO3 called Wasteland Baby a sweet tale that tells of Patton, a human, finding and falling in love with the Fae he meets in the woods, featuring eventual LAMP and Remile on the side. It also has Riptide, while not an easy read emotionally, is also an excellent story with Janus x Remus as the main ship dealing with a traumatic past as they work to a better future. They have a nsfs 2020 masterpost for those over 18 who are interested!

@pizza-box-raccoon is an amazing artist that’s made a lot of pieces on their blog. He gave me permission to choose my favorites to link as they couldn’t pick so here’s The Sides As Clow Cards along with Part 1 with Thomas, Dom and Gavin! I also very much enjoy their Birthday Logan and Dragon Janus design, as well as his Monster Dark Sides drawings.

@stillebesat is another writer with an extensive collection of fics which can be found on her AO3 and on this masterpost. She didn’t give me anything specific to link to but my personal favorites are Growing Pains- a story about Roman helping Logan through the pain of growing out his wings, First contact, a fic detailing different ways to communicate with trust and Demon Comfort, an au in which a demon, Logan, becomes a fond protector of his charge Virgil.

@the-blue-recluse is an artist and animator and one that I always love seeing on my dash. They do have a commision sheet so please be sure if you check them out to reblog and support them if you can. They didn’t have a preference for what I linked to so I decided on their fics A Medical Mystery- a LAMP fic in which Virgil hides a health condition from the others and Eyeshadow where Roman tries his hardest to get the others to see Virgil’s purple eyeshadow. For art I very fond of their Dadciet, Prinxiety comic and Intrulogical fusion.

@the-duke-of-nuts makes sanders sides edits that are always so well timed and edited. They gave me their I’m Just A Chemical edit and Remus art to link to and I wanted to include my own favorites: Remus reacting to Roman’s twinster, Virgil’s birthday edit as well as this piece of Roman art.

@themorethingschange are writers ( @frejennix and @lalijinx ) whose work The Other Side of the Mirror I only recently found but I can honestly say their story is one of the best role switch aus I have ever managed to find myself. The plot and character arcs are realistic and very different from canon while still seeming like if Thomas and Joan had written the characters with switched roles than this is how they’d do it. 

@ur-fav-clown makes art with a very cute style and cool character designs. It also asked for its Princey, Roman in a Fancy Dress, Virgil With a Horned Headband, and Virgil and Roman in Hats be linked. My favorites of his are his Skirt Virgil and Smiley Janus.

@vindicatedvirgil is another writer who was one of the first I started following when I joined the fan base. They have a wonderfully written College au with all our favorite boys trying to navigate life, school and relationships that ends on an incredibly sweet note. I got to pick the one shots to include so I chose their recent Not Every Wave is a Tidal Wave a pirate au with Logan as the captain and Remus as his first mate and What Are You, A Middle School Librarian? which is a very sweet romantic Rociet fic. Along with these I’d highly recommend their 2020 Soulmate September fics and I’m Not the Bad Guy an Anciet fic focused on Virgil and Janus mending their relationship as my personal favorites from them. They also have a masterpost and  AO3!

@warcraftedtardis is someone I found when he started posting character designs for The Friends We Made Along the Way which you can find here! They write for a few different fandoms on their AO3 as well so be sure to check that out. He has quite a few humans are space orcs speculative essays and of the ones I’ve found so far their discussion of different types of radiation and how we adapted to it and touch and how we perceive it are really interesting!

As I said before this is by no means a comprehensive list of everyone who should get more recognition for their work, just a few that I’ve been following and enjoying the content and that I could fit on a reasonably lengthed list.
