Have a Divine Sunday! 🦩

Princess Xeon: The Rebrand
Well hello friends. Been a hot minute huh? Well obviously I've been doing a lot of self reflecting. I've moved across the country yet again (for what feels like the ten millionth time) and boy has a lot changed within the past two years.
I first would like to formally (somewhat) announce that I have retired from the chronically online lifestyle. I'm finding myself nowadays being offline and limiting my social media intake. Granted I can't go full on cold turkey (specifically for Tik Tok and Instagram) But for the most part I'm trying to keep my social media intake primarily to Youtube and Pinterest. I've always loved using Tumblr as a form of self expression as well and I will continue to explore that. Because ultimately I find myself happiest when I'm being creative and making others feel seen in the process. I only hope that I can make at least one person feel seen in this world just by me being me.
Ever since my journey of self love and self discovery; I've been learning how to be more in touch with my spiritual side as well! I'm currently a baby witch as well as an amateur healer. I primarily practice Taoism, Transcendental Meditation, ext. By opening my heart, learning about my Chakras, and opening my third eye, I've been able to have a miraculous undeniable love for life in itself. I may also be biased because I finally stared taking Lexapro as well which has also quite literally saved my life. I didn't think I'd make it this far. I know as well that what I practice is indeed a coping mechanism. And I know that all religion is a coping mechanism; but nonetheless spirituality has been an immensely healthy way for me to be more in touch with myself and the world around me.
I've also been fortunate enough to have had time to reevaluate my creative vision as an artist. Ever since I've been birthed from my mothers wound and ever since I could hold a pencil, I have ALWAYS been art artist or a creative in whatever which was possible. And being offline (as well as being spiritually at peace with the world) has made me a better artist as well. No longer am I insecure in my art and my voice. And for that I am eternally grateful. It's such a breathe of fresh air to be able to work off of my own authenticity, voice, story, ext. Without worrying so much about preconceived notions or judgement in the long run. Because ultimately, I finally know how to show up for myself and I know how to follow my own heart to its fullest.
And I also want to mention that who I am and what I do isn't perfect, it just makes sense to me. If you are chronically online and it makes you happy. More power to you! But I feel as a collective, we need to learn how to be more intentional with everything we do in our day to day lives. And sometimes, the digital world can be our greatest enemy when it comes to productivity, originality, etc. But of course I can only speak for myself. We live in a time especially where authenticity is so scarce. Especially because of AI. Therefore I'm trying to do my best that I can to constantly improve myself and my wellbeing while also being true to my creative voice. And of course I only hope to help others feel seen as well.
I'm just thankful that for once in my life I am not letting others dictate my narrative, but help to be my blueprint in inspiring my sense of authenticity and self. Even though I hyper fixate on others easily I'm thankful that I no longer have overly obsessive thoughts for others and instead have healthy thoughts about life. As well as having an easier time living in the moment, being less fearful, and conquering things as I can.
I hope to continue to use this platform as a semi digital journal and I'm hoping to also post some of my art on here as well (besides collages)!
Much love! ~ Princess Xeon

don’t mess with this aura yall 😔 she’s coming of age 🧘🏻♀️
Divine in “Female Trouble” (1974) Dir. John Waters
最近の大作
I’ve always loved beautiful things—anything that gave me pleasure. These beautiful things were my good feelings. Mixed with nostalgia, I must add. I wore them like silver because they made me feel worthy, like I belonged in a world of beauty. It was intoxicating, like crack cocaine—just the scent or touch of something good was enough to transport me. I would have ripped my heart out clean and handed it to God, a cult, or anything that asked, just to feel that again.
The feeling is best captured in a moment: walking home to a villa owned by your friend’s family, a family that loves you. The villa is stunning but damaged, with cracks and dust that make you feel part of its story. It wraps you in a kind of safety, a fragile blanket I can’t help but crave.
I also do love the simplicity of necessity. A phone, for example, has so much purpose—it connects. Connects us. But right now, I want to snap mine in half. I like the idea of never touching it again, because it turns my perfect feelings into something distorted and tarry. It cheapens them, makes them sticky, like chewing gum caught on your thumb. No matter how hard you try to clean it, the residue lingers, smothering every good sensation. That’s what my phone feels like: a numbness that overrides beauty. I want to crush it, break free from it, but right now I want to post on it.

My hero
Day Dreaming About 2010s Makeup and How Fun the Beauty Industry Used to Be :,3
I remember back in the days growing up as a kid seeing all the bright, fun, and fascinating advertisements for cosmetic products and brands. I remember the MAC cosmetics Archie Collection (2013) clear as day. I remember seeing the advertisements for that collection and the fun colors of lipsticks and the cute packaging. I remember growing up feeling intimidated by the MAC stores as well as department stores with brand boutiques such as the Chanel counters. I remember thinking that one day when I grow up I would buy makeup of such a luxury status and have so much playing with makeup. And thankfully that's what ended up happening! :D I'm almost 20 and makeup is my biggest special interest. It's never ending fun and excitement especially when you're involved in the industry at times as well. I've been studying makeup theory for about 5 years now and I've been a professional makeup artist for two years now :,). I was always meant to be an artist, yet there's something so relieving about makeup artistry. It's so transformative, experimental, and multidimensional. Aside from makeup artistry in itself, products and especially collecting products is one of my favorite things about the makeup industry. There are so many different colors, formulas, textures, finishes, ext. I especially miss the industry back in the day because I find that it was easier for people to have more access to experimental and colorful makeup. But to be fair that is what was trending back in the day. Now the "clean girl" look has dominated the world of western beauty. Honestly I'm not too mad at it. The whole quality over quantity ideal is healing for the industry. But at the same time now the average person is afraid to experiment and have fun with makeup. But whatever that's their lost I guess. Regardless, I will always love and cherish makeup whether it's makeup history or thr future of the makeup world. Much love <3
