anyways here you go:

-Andrea and Donald started dating because Rabbi Uris wanted them to, so they started to court each other with parental super vision so as not to be too physically intimate.

-Their first real true date was to see bye bye birdie, like you said, but before that they had a few awkward family dinners together where Donald's father did most of the talking. after those few dates Andrea supposed Donald was nice enough on the rare moment he got to talk to her candidly, and then they actually started to fall in love when they were left alone to actually go on dates.

-Andrea would make donald little hand sewn presents since, like throw pillows or handkercheifs since she loved to sew.

-After a while Andrea and Donald got banned from studying together at the temple because they never got any work done, they just talked.

-Donald and Andrea are very much the kind of people who were quiet around other but very sociable around each other

-Donald genuinely thinks Andrea is the most perfect girl ever, he doesn't think any girl can compare to her at all, which is quite sweet considering Andrea is often very sensitive about certain features she has, like her textured hair.

-Patty used to tease andrea for dating a dweeb like Donald uris but it was really cause she was jealous. Most people were jealous of Donald and Andrea's happy relationship, except for Andrea's friends ofc.

-Sonia and Arlene were REALLY excited at the prospect that Andrea was going on a date. They were all nosey and demanding she share the details, but andrea was just like "guys i don't know anything about the kid other than he's jewish." but they just brushed her off and said she was playing hard to get.

-they got married almost immediately after highschool, same as Sonia and Frank. Andrea just wanted to be a housewife to Donald, while Donald wanted to go to a jewish college to become a rabbi like his dad, so she basically just lived with her father until he came back and they could get a place of their own.

-Andrea and Donald are the type of couple who already knew exactly who they wanted to be as kids, like i said, andrea wanted to be a home maker and Donald wanted to be a rabbi. they got along really well because of that.

There's not that many tbh as i tend to prefer writing human error more than pennywise shenanigans, but here are a few

-Butch got drafted thanks in part to Pennywise, and later on he gave him delusions that made his ptsd worse, thus making him become abusive to henry and lilly.

-Similarly Lilly never really connected with Henry on account of weird freaky pregnancy dreams and hallucination Pennywise gave her, which then made it easier for her to leave.

-Elfrida killed herself after the trauma of being put in the deadlights with everyone else became too much to handle.

-Ingrid abandoning frank as a baby largely is because of her own trauma from her father's death, which is Pennywise's fault

-This isn't cannon but I think the accident that killed Andrea's mom could be partially because of one of the big bloody events that happened in derry.

-Wentworth's dad being so hard on him is indirectly caused by Pennywise since his dad really wants wentworth to become something great in a town full of terrible accidents.

He has a job unlike Alvin, dosnt embarrass the family like Peggy dose and is genuinely smart

one of my biggest grievances is when people try to say “Henry was abused but that still doesn’t mean he deserves sympathy because Eddie/Beverly were nice and they were abused.” The biggest difference is that Eddie and Beverly weren’t indoctrinated with extreme violent racist views. Yes, Eddie’s mom is racist but she wasn’t going around drawing swastikas on black people’s houses. Al I’m not 100% sure but I’m leaning towards no because i don’t think he ever mentioned her being around a black boy.

I don’t think Stephen king was trying to say “oh look how abuse can turn you nice or violent.” Abuse and the effects it has on people are way too complicated for that black and white thinking. I think he was trying to bring out two separate points. Henry’s abuse reflects on the simplest talking point about racism. Which is that it starts at the home and follows through generations. In Henry’s case from father to son.

Eddie and Beverly’s abuse is more a reflection on how it follows victims through adulthood and how victims even once they leave can still fall back into the same abusive cycle, hence why they basically marry their parents.

If that got wordy I apologize but I did want to know your thoughts because I do like hearing other people’s interpretations.

A lot of IT fans are young and don't really have media literacy skills yet which is why I think they can't fully empathize with Henry. When you're a kid you empathize exclusively with kids who are like you and hate Henry because he reminds you of bullies, but when you get older you start to see Henry for what he is- which is a needy pathetic child. I think it's part of maturing to realize people you knew growing up aren't some one dimensional stereotype you can easily push away. I had a lot of people i used to hate as a teenager and as i grew up i came to realize they were just people like me. Not to say you can't hate Henry or hold him accountable, because he is still a bad person at the end of the day, but part of maturing is getting a deeper understanding of things. We see this with Mike in the book, where as a kid he just hates henry and punches him in the face, but as an adult he sees henry for what he is: a badly abused child, and tries to show him some mercy and help him. Again, not to say you can't hate him, but i feel like people who hate henry usually don't understand his character. If Henry haters were able to acknowledge that Henry's abuse is serious and not deserved, and that hurting him is part of pennywise's plan, but still just didn't like him, i think i'd accept Henry haters more. There are a lot of people who see themselves in henry due to their own trauma, and i think telling these people that if you're a bad enough person your trauma starts being deserved, funny, or karma is a really negative and unhelpful way to approach mental health. I mean how are we supposed to advance as a society if we deem it okay that bad people can be exploited by corrupt systems?

Nope. She kinda stopped being friends after graduation cause she realized it wasn't a good friend group for her. These feelings were solidified by her having Betty when she didn't wanna bring her kid around Belch and Vic. The thing about Elaine is she's actually a pretty good mother, unlike Rhonda and Patty. Patty is a bad mother because she doesn't want to be, while rhonda is a bad mother because she's far too indulgent of Belch and spoils him. Elaine is a pretty normal mom to Betty, relatively good as far as parents go.

Rhonda and Patty complain about Elaine all the time deciding to stop hanging out with them. they're all like "Oooohh Elaine thinks she's too good for us!". They're miserable gossips tbh.

Before anyone gets mad, I ranked the characters based off a combination of the book characters plus their depictions in the movies/miniseries so I didn't have to rank 3 different Henry's. So I don't wanna hear complaints that movie Patrick sucks when he's just supposed to represent Patrick as a whole. The only person I didn't do this for is Mr. Keene because book Mr. Keene isn't a villain.

Second, no not every character whose ever been mean in the IT universe is here, like Tim Flannagan. If you think of a character who isn't here they'd go squarely in the Barely even a character tbh tier.

Also I forgot Tom Rogan by accident, but i don't really care. He'd go right next to Alvin if you give a shit.

And obviously this list is all my personal opinion so try to be nice if you disagree.

I did one about an arsonist attack on my ocs family home in 1908 and someone DMed me saying you cant add disasters to the lore because it isnt realistic :(
