Kibō update! It has been one week since I picked up this sweet and amazing boy.. And while we are combating a fever right now, I wanted to share some GOOD news! In one week, Kibō's skin looks so much better (and healthier). His scabs are almost all gone! He is starting to put on weight and he is no longer having balancing issues- Which is probably because his double ear infection is pretty much all cleared up! And to top it off, after everything he has been through he is starting to trust people again. That is HUGE. Don't get me wrong, trust is a pretty big work in progress.. But realistically, the fact that he even lets us near him without shaking to death is pretty freaking amazing to me. I'm thankful that he snuggles us and even gives us kisses.
