The first two had crosses through them. Tasks already achieved. I was surprised but turned on: he had a plan for me.

A month later, I failed a 50% assignment in my Art History paper. Theo was kind and supportive, telling me that maybe this year wasn’t my year - I could withdraw from the rest of my courses and sign up again next year.

Theo worked from home and Rachel was out most days. That meant I got very bored and turned all my attention on the most interesting thing in the house: Theo.
