You Are Unforgettable

-for all the times i was called fat in school 

-for all the times my family wasn’t concerned when i didn’t want to eat and instead encouraged my cutting back on food 

-because when i was thin i felt better getting dressed

-when i was thin people paid more attention to me 

-because the more you weigh the more people use your weight as ammo to indicate your inferiority 

-because my friends make comments calling me ‘thicc’

-because my friends are always talking about their diets or weight

-because people keep telling me it’s a good thing i have ‘curves’

-it hurts when a guy grunts as he goes to pick me up, but when he picks up my <120lb friend he doesn’t make a noise

-i am tired of what i feel when i walk 

-i am tired of what i feel when i lay in bed
