Val (fixing an earring): “You know good and well you can’t understand a thing any one would say!”

Remmick (wrapping his arms around her, trying to butter her up): “awe come on, can’t you at least put in a good word for me so they’ll let me in?”

Val (Rolling her eyes): “No, no I cannot…besides, I can’t have men see me with you, it’d ruin the whole point of hunting.”

Remmick (pressing his forehead against her shoulder in disappointment): “You’re a cruel woman, you know that?”

Val (Patting his back before dusting off the dress she’s wearing): “I’m absolutely terrible, now you’ll be good and stay in the woods, right? Can’t have any one I catch run off.”
