Land of the Brave

It’s been two weeks since I’ve come back home and I still haven’t unpacked my bags. Pretty sure my sperm donor father is starter to worry about the smell. 

“oof, I can’t stand unpacked bags. I unpack as soon as I get home.”

Alexis played thr I get what I want card with Elijah and it works as usual. She wanted a night with him and only him so they could go out to eat and spend sometime together before school started up and she was busy with the football team and whatever else she was thrown into this season. She was just really wanting to go out and eat with the boy. When they got back though she was going to let him do whatever he wanted. It was her way of saying thank you to him for just dealing with her and her attitude she got once in a while. She didn’t mean it, but she was so used to it that sometimes it just happened. 

Elijah didn’t even really like Breadstix, either the food or the restaurant, but he knew that staying home wasn’t really an option. Also he liked making Alexis happy and if all it took was a dinner then he was all for it. He changed out of his sweats into a real pair of pants and fixed his hair, he couldn’t risk getting caught looking a mess right now. It was election season and he had to look like a million bucks all the time, even though he was just an intern, he felt that responsibility.
