When they dared me, i said: ‘Of course i can fit inside.’ It took a while, but at the end that door closed.
They joked around, laughing, then two of them shoved that cage underneath the workbench in that garage and while one pushed a few tool boxes in front of it, i also suddenly heard a padlock snap shut.
‘Guys? hey guys?? HEY GUYS…. what the fuck are you doing!’
But i already heard the laughing voices moving further away and then the garage door being closed too…
Just before it was close though i heard one of them: 'Enjoy your weekend, we’ll let your bully brother know on Sunday where he can find you.’
It was a painful and horribly boring 1.5 days, but the worst came after when my brother found me and decided to take that cage back home, with me still inside. He may have been just one year older, but we were as different as day and night.
I do not know how he convinced our parents, but he got them to agree that we’re going back to 'sharing’ a bedroom, while he got to rebuild my bedroom into his own little gym while at the same time giving me a choice: Get a severe beating every morning and night of every day from now on, or agree to sleep in my 'new bedroom’ (the cage) permanently every night after ensuring 'his’ room being spotless.
I was still living at home another two years before moving for studies, but those two years were hell for sure. i could not wait for the day when i got away from him and this 'arrangement’.
Strange enough, the day i moved to the campus two states over, he agreed to drive me there, but the surprise came when he stopped not 5 miles outside of town and showed me that very cage in the back.
'Oh, did my little fag brother think it was over? Surprise, guess who i arranged to be your roomie in the dorm. Well, not really, it’s actually dorm room of course, you will remain this one here (pointing at the cage), you will primarily spend your days and nights in for as long as i study, and you know me, the next ten to 15 years i’ll be a student for sure.
I have already cancelled your registration there, so the study fees our parents send for both of us annually on to my account are for me then, as i won’t tell them you’re not actually studying there at all.
Sooner or later i will find ways to make other money off your ass or mouth too, but regardless, i’ll have a blast in the years to come for sure.’
