Legends of Pretty Cure

"Oh yes, my name's Aya Higumi!" She gives a little curtsy with her apron. "Oh, I've got something for that!" She heads back behind the counter and pulls out an older model polaroid camera. "Just hold the spoon like you're about to dig in and smile!" She snaps the picture and it quickly prints out. With a couple shakes of her hand, the picture develops. "Not necessarily high tech, but nothing here at the KiraPati is." She hands the picture to Ageha. "There you go! Now you've got a memory of the first of many desserts I'll make for you!"

"Making things for my friends is how I show I care. You and I are friends now, so if you ever have a craving for a dessert, give me a call and I'll make one for you, if I can." Aya hands over a card with her phone number on one side and her username on the Pretty Cure private chat rooms on the other. "Hmm..." Aya taps her chin in thought. "A dessert fit for a daycare class? Something like that has to fit five criteria. It has to be something low in sugar, but it also has to taste good. It has to be something easy to put together, and make as little mess as possible. And it has to be something that little kids would like holding in their hands. Give me a couple days and I'll come up with something, okay?" In the meantime, Aya grabs a dessert from the display case, the squirrel-shaped pudding, and sits opposite Ageha.

She's rarely given a chance to boast, so she's going to take this. "If there's something I can't do, I haven't found it yet. I can fight, I can bake, I can compete in a triathlon, and I can forge swords. You've already seen me do the first one, so come with me to the KiraPati and I'll show you the second." She holds out her pact to create a doorway to the magical bakery. "Come on! You're going to love this, I promise!" She offers her hand to Butterfly, ready to take her new friend on a culinary adventure.

Tiramisu doffs her heels. Even though this other Cure is closer to her age than her own team, Tiramisu still towers over her by a few inches. "You did fantastic too. I hope I didn't cause you too much strain by bouncing off your barriers like that. I saw an opportunity to do something brand new, and I took it!" She offers her hand to the other Cure with a smile. "Are you hungry, Cure Butterfly? I can make some of my namesake dessert if you want me to."

"Butterfly Barriers! That's fantastic!" This gives Tiramisu an idea for a combo attack. She leaps up into the air and spins around, building up her magic around her body. "Pretty Cure Caffeine Rush!" She lands heels first in the middle of the barrier and flies off towards the mechanical monster, her fist extended. One strike, then she bounces off the barrier behind him, and just keeps pinballing until she becomes a blur of light. Chunks of steel coming flying off the monster with every punch, even as the force of her punches dents his body inward. Her final strike in this multi-combo attack is a flying scissor kick where she locks her legs around the monster's metallic headwear and lands in a handspring, throwing him headfirst into the barrier that's furthest from him. She rights herself, her heels throwing out magical sparks from the impact. "Nice job with the barriers!" Cure Tiramisu runs to the monster and stomps the ground under his left leg to make a hole. When his leg falls in the hole, her purifying magic remakes the asphalt, locking him in place. "Your turn for a finisher, Cure Butterfly!" She gives her ally a thumbs-up.

She has to shield her eyes from the light as Butterfly is fully formed. The monster looks between the two of them. "So unfair..." Cogs and pistons in his body start grinding and pumping, and the space between Tiramisu and Butterfly is filled with a thick black smoke. But even though the girls can't see their foe, they can definitely hear the clanking of metal as he tries to run from them. "I know where he is." Tiramisu picks up a chunk of the road from where the monster impacted and hurls it with all her might. There's a sound in the smoke as the asphalt hits the monster in the back, followed by a lot of metal hitting the road, throwing up enough sparks to give away his position. She looks to Butterfly and realizes they can do introductions later. If that monster gets away, he could choke out the whole city with that smoke, so she leaps towards where the sparks were, hoping Butterfly will follow.

Another sword emerges from the sleeve of her dress. This might lead to questions about her using her magic to skirt around open carry laws in Japan. Or perhaps questions of "Were you just carrying around two swords in case you needed them?" As she reaches to hand the hilt of the blade to Sailor Mars, the monster tries to intervene. *CRUNCH* There's no expression of pain from the monster, but where Cure Tiramisu had put her full strength into a foot stomp, the monster's foot is now flatter than a crepe'. "Hey, don't get between a woman and her sword!" Tiramisu hands the blade over. The weapon now resting in Sailor Mars' gloved hand is high quality two-hundred layer damascus steel, inlaid with mother-of-pearl in the hilt and pommel. Along one side of the blade is a blessing written in engraved kanji that reads "May the soul of my warrior burn hotter than the fires that forged me." The writing on the other side reads "May my warrior strike harder than the hammer that forged me." As Cure Tiramisu finishes giving the sword to Sailor Mars (and she fully intends to let the senshi keep it when they're done) she offers a small prayer of protection over the blade. Her own sparkling magic, more often used to ensure the best taste for freshly baked sweet treats, now becomes a magical barrier so Sailor Mars can channel her radiant fire through the blade without harming it. That being done, she turns back to face the monster, taking the first downward swing. This attack connects, cutting off four of the seven-inch claws on its right hand. The grin Cure Tiramisu gives as these claws hit the ground could almost be considered malicious. She's figured out what this monster really is, and as soon as Sailor Mars makes her first attack, she's certain the senshi will as well.
