At first, I was delighted that I get to earn a lot. But it’s slowly draining me. I used to not care about the small inconveniences that happen to me, but since I started working 2 jobs, I became sensitive—like I’ll literally cry over a messy kitchen.

So I decided to let go of my full-time job, which is almost half of my income. It’s only been 4 days since then, but it already felt surreal. Whenever I finished my 4-hr job, it felt weird that I could already rest without thinking that I still had work to do. I no longer have to sit on my pc for the whole 9 hrs without a break and lunch just for me to meet my everyday tasks for both of my jobs.

My income might be lower now but I am much at peace and I get to do house chores unlike before that I can no longer function after a 9 hr shift because I am mentally drained.
