this guy is really pissing him off. is he ignoring him on purpose? his smell is really driving him crazy and he wanted answers now but the other is avoiding him which makes things worse.

“i’m talking to you asshole! answer me!” he can’t be the same guy, he died during the tenrou island incident but here this guy was bearing the same scent as that guy.

 Finally he turns around, feeling a bit uncomfortable.  

  “...I’m a .... treasure hunter.”

When Freed arrived at the scene it didn’t take him all too long to recognize the bandits as the group his job had requested him to find and capture. With a frown he let his gaze wander over the unconscious scoundrels before fixating his cyan eyes on the man he was not acquainted with though there was a strange feeling within him that he should know him.

                                  “It looks like there has been a misunderstanding,”

he began, eyes remaining narrowed slightly.

                                  “I was supposed to take care of these bandits, or that’s at least what the descrption of my mission told me to do. Now may I ask if you are a wayfarer only or if you in fact received the same job request?”

  “I’m a treasure hunter. But these people were in the way so I simply... danced with them.” Dancing with blades is generally dangerous so kids don’t do it at home! 

 “I apologize ... if this inconvenienced you... I am only after their treasure. You can bring them in and still receive their reward money.” Thats called fooling the people and a unfair advantage of money, however Precht either way cares little for job requests and wants the treasure that usually follows.  Never mind that the whole bank watched him. He rummages through their belonginings a bit till he found...ah yes. A small jade earring. 

Seriously?

“How novel. I was convinced that you came to a vegetable stand to buy something else. Like, for example, concrete.”

  “...Ah....no...that...really isn’t....”

He’s done trying to talk to the other, perhaps in a mark of embarrassment he turns his back on her. 

“What it is exactly that you want to buy? Maybe I would be able to help you?” She offered. It wasn’t that she was feeling particularly helpful that day, of course.

Seven exact minutes of silence...

  “....Vegetables....”

“Actually, not really? Those are just a different sub-species, that is slightly more fleshy but has less juice as a result.” She explained before gesturing towards another pile of tomatoes, that looked paler in comparison. “Those are the cheapest ones.”

Stupid Yuri, making off with most of the money. 

Looking at the available produce... 

  He checks the carrots instead. 

Now that was a preciously funny scene playing before her eyes - a grown man throwing various vegetables a glance so intense, she half-expected to see the air cracking from the energy put into the look.

Muffling a laughter, she took a step closer.

“Those long tomatoes are less juicy than the other.”

By now its known that Precht is extremely awkward in social levels, and with a guild that does’t really listen to others, Precht social awkwardness would increase and he will find it hard to make friends with anyone, especially people like Natsu who, despite having a attitude similar to Yuri, he will find too hyprocritical for even himself. There would be like 1/3 of the guild that he won’t be able to handle , or be worse off if he does handle them.  He needs long term friends that know about how awkward he is, like Mavis who is his translator and Yuri who is the general leader of the team. Warrod as well for support. 

  “What.” 

A tense silence, his voice low as to not wake the bandits from their slumber, well forced slumber since the two mages, one new and one a genius encountered them. While the older of the pair did slower work, he was still a certified fighter when it came to close combat, and the magic chains that had appeared on both hands certainly helped. But... it was nothing compared to the magic the younger did. 

Was he a genius like Mavis too? if so... how scary.
