Frapp My Life!

Niranjan and Armaan were the co founder's and they used to serenade us while we were working, sometimes Armaan used to play the La La Land soundtrack on guitar while Niranjan used to play some really good fusion and rap over the soundbar. We were mostly the rap lovers. Hence the name 'Frapp' and this is my guess as we never got to know the meaning of Frapp I thought it must be 'friends who listen to rap'. I asked the co founder and they said they didn’t know why it was frapp and that it was just a random thing. I suspect they didn't want the word 'Intern' in the name as many of the brands from the same business have, like Intern Theory or Internshala.

We had saffira the dog with us for few days who only listened to shri sir. We might have lost some crucial sale because shri sir was distracted. Who usually is the most focused and the funniest of them all.

Frapp had a good social media presence and in house posters and App banners to be designed. I had to design certificates as well as the pictures of the team for the team masthead of the Frapp website. Importantly this was an app-centric company and I was going to learn a lot about UI UX. The cherry on the cake would be that the team was hilarious while doing everything. Even in the most mundane of things or the super crucial joint meetings where the BD team used to sit with design and tech team, there were jokes coming from the two co founder's and of course Shri, the BD team head. The co founders single handedly beat Michael Scott and made 'The Office' look like a small documentary in front of my whole Frapp workplace experience.

A mundane industrial complex includes a small commercial building with laboratories and warehouses and in one corner of this desolate place lies this oasis of a workplace. Frapp. So much life here it makes it up for all the barren life around.

Somebody had recommended me Frapp for finding good internship opportunities. I applied there itself and got a call next day of one Mr. Armaan Vananchal, the co founder of Frapp. I got the gig and this place seemed exactly like what I had in my mind; and in the first couple of days here I would come to see how its the best place to get among all the filters I had applied for getting the right internship. This was a great relief as many were standing on my head to get internship asap and confronting me in whatsapp groups as if I was wasting my time lying on a pile of unsent CVs. I was only looking for something specific and I knew everything will happen at the right time. Things have a way to fall into place. Those that matter atleast.

So I thought I would get into a small company/brand with a design team and adequately challenging work. I found out a sport brand which was just catching up and started selling on Amazon. But it was just two bosses and me as a design intern and not much to learn. I needed a mentor from the design field. So this option was out of question.
