i’ve talked about this before but gabriel’s existence before he left heaven was entirely non-linear, and i think he took a long time to adjust to a linear existence on earth. while he obviously has Some control over time -- for example, creating multiple time-loops in mystery spot, etc. -- i think getting used to the passage of time instead of just jumping around wherever he wants is... one of the things he really has to get used to when he leaves permanently (don’t reblog)

thinking about the disarray gabriel’s garrisons must have been in when he left heaven... wonder much of the lasting instability in heaven was because he just abandoned however many angels worked under his command. (don’t reblog)
