What's Peppa Pig: A Show Cut Short?

Why, a 40-chapter fanfiction made by someone too autistic about the show. (Aka Ladisepic) (Who's handle is @ladtheicecreameater) (me)

The story takes place in 2011, 7 years after the original show. After Peppa wakes up to an abnormal change in her world, she (with Suzy and George) run off to investigate. After several events, they all come to the conclusion that there's more to Peppatown than is told, and that it's a matter of time before the world goes silent again.

The chapters often switch between three protagonists. Peppa, Mr Sheep, and a new character named Erkan Elk. Each protagonist goes through similar things, but they go in some different areas and whatnot.

Do be warned of sensitive topics within later chapters. PP:ASCS is intended for an older audience than the original show's.

Meet George Pig, Peppa's little brother!

You'd think that after a few years he'd be talking a whole lot, but it seems to be his choice to do otherwise. At most, his sentences will be about 3 words. Now 9 years old, George attends school with Peppa and is roped into her newest adventure.

It's easy to underestimate and overlook someone so quiet, but in reality he spends a lot of time observing and analyzing a lot of things in his head...whenever he isn't playing with Mr Dinosaur. Maybe his memory could come in handy if anyone is willing to listen to him?

...On the bright side, he doesn't cry as much as he used to!

Meet Suzy Sheep, our hero's best friend in the whole world!

Although she may be confident, bossy, and a bit blunt, she can easily be overwhelmed by all the noise and any changes to her routine. She's always glad to play with Peppa, and maybe tease her a little. Her dream is to be a nurse, and help sick people feel better!

Have you ever closed your eyes and heard her secret?

Long ago, after a few disappearances changed her town for good, Suzy tried her best to continue down her intended path and never look behind. Still, something consumes her from the inside the more she walks forward, feeling like she forgot something. Perhaps it's just a puddle of rain clouding her memory, and perhaps that puddle is somebody else.

Peppa looks at Suzy, and they both wonder what the other is thinking at a time like this.

Meet Peppa Pig, the star and main character of this story! Well, one of three, but more on that later.

It has been seven long years since the original show began. Now being eleven years old, Peppa faces an adventure much more complex and troublesome than any she's ever had (and that's saying a lot for a girl who went to space at four years old!)

Her friends have always been there to help her, and other people have always been there to lead the way, but when it boils down to just her, only a strange voice that's always up to her ear can help her out. However, out of all people, that voice should already know she isn't one to like being bossed around.

It's tough being confused, lost, often alone, adventuring through hazardous enviroments, encountering strangers, seeing parts of the world previously unknown to her...

But worst of all, she doesn't have her golden boots anymore.
