Post-digital Visual Laboratory

From the 8th January until the 31st of January, Fictional Collective will host the Dark Room Society, a group of analogue image manufacturers and enthusiasts in the House of Kazerne, Eindhoven. Alongside, will be illustrators and experimenters Anastajsia Mass, Raphael Coutin and holding workshops, implementing there interpretations of image creation and illustration and asking participants to expand on them. Without content related constraint and no particular deadline, we want to open the House of Kazerne to become a place of unrelenting creativity for a period of one month. Without knowing where to start and where we will end up... To question the virility of image production techniques and the use of their outcome, as floating spaces, creating new corners... .... .....images falling on heads.... An open class experiment using different medias and techniques to compose images, possibly resulting in light and spatial installation to create visual traces and images as aesthetic research. In this month it will be possible to learn and hack various traditional techniques: Film developing, Projections and Illustration; Photography , light.... And whatever tools you choose to bring.
