Vlad has caught on to Helena’s scheme to make him weaker by letting him feed off of her while taking her potions. Helena is weak, and coughing up blood. The potions have finally taken a toll on her, and she can’t pretend like she’s fine anymore. Vlad is furious. 

"I can’t believe I thought you were falling in love with me. I was a fool.” He grabs her, and right before he’s about to attack, Eric comes flying at him with a stake.

Vlad turns around to try and fight back, but he is weak himself. Eric has been training non-stop to become a powerful vampire, and he finally gets to show what he can do, even if it’s to his own kind…He stakes Vlad, and feels a rush of confidence empower him. Eric has always been socially awkward and gloomy, unwilling to put himself in the spotlight… but today he’s a hero.

The moment is temporary, as Helena grabs him and screams. “WE NEED TO RUN, NOW!” They hear what they were dreading- the opening of a coffin.

“ERIC, LISTEN TO ME! TELEPORT US OUT OF HERE! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! TAKE ME TO WILLOW CREEK!”

Eric pauses for a moment, but he once again feels the surge of confidence and teleports them both by mist out of Vlad’s mansion. He never thought he could do it before, but this rush of adrenaline has showed him how great his powers really are.

Victoria comes out from her hibernation. The tragic un-aliving of her master, and her only family member that hasn’t abandoned her, has awoken her. She finds him lying on the ground, already gone. She let’s out a somber howl, one that resonates throughout all of Forgotten Hollow. Her wolf blood is still strong, even though she’s a vampire now. 

She won’t let anyone hold her back anymore.

Seeing Vlad have his mother in his grasp has awoken the fighting spirit within Eric. He doesn’t hesitate to act.

Helena is still having trouble breathing. Her condition is worsening.

Eric feels…alive. He is a shy recluse, but unaliving an ancient vampire has really given his a boost of confidence! He will most certainly be hunted by other vampires now.

They can hear the bats gathering, the coffin opening, the Rob Zombie music starts playing…it’s time to get out of here!

Victoria STRAUD(can’t believe I kept calling her Strauss) is out of hibernation. She feels a disturbance with her father/master.

She finds his body. He’s really gone. Her only family that she was really close with. Vlad cared about his daughter immensely. He protected her, only wanted the best for her. He was scared of her being hunted, which is why he forced her to hibernate to gain back energy. Perhaps he was preparing her for her own future as Queen of the Vampires.

She lets out a somber howl. When Victoria was cured of her lycanthropy, some of her wolf blood never left. She can still howl, and her werewolf senses combined with her vampire ones have made her even stronger. She is a hybrid.
