Y’all just had a crazy dream about an alternate route in earthbound called the “Monster route” where you don’t save Paula and you go straight to Threed when you meet Jeff, you have to kill every enemy you see and then when you get Poo,
During your adventure, make Poo use his strong moves, Jeff use his bottles rockets, and you defend. When you get to the fifth sanctuary and go back to see Paula, Paula wouldn’t be there anymore, yet if you go to a hotel to sleep for the night, Paula telepathically torments Ness that she died because of him. And then, before getting the final sanctuary, Poo stop Ness. The reason why is because Paula also told Poo about her dying and how it was Ness’s fault. Ness and Jeff then have to battle Poo to the death to get through. After that, Magicant seems off. Instead of it being goofy, its just nothing. No music, no NPCs, no buildings, and the walking sound is squishing sounds. After getting through, instead of Ness’s Nightmare being there, it’s a heart. Next to it is a hammer and you are presented a choice; to destroy the heart or not. If you destroy the heart, Jeff would be laying on the floor, throwing up a red substance. After some seconds, he would stop and die. When battling Porky, at sone point, Ness would break Porky’s machine which would make him die since humans can’t live in the cave of the past. Without the Devils Machine not being turned off, Ness can’t defeat Giygas. And so, he dies.
