StreamClan was once a flourishing clan in the forest. A clan consisting of courageous, kind cats who knew the way of the water. They were accompanied by two other clans; LeafClan and BurrowClan, whom they lived in peace with. All was well for every cat. Yet it all washed away on the fateful day a natural disaster struck. A colossal storm struck their home, causing floods and avalanches from the nearby mountains. Trees descended, destroying homes and killing creatures living within and under them. All clans were a shell of their former selves.
Out of all of them, StreamClan had the worst luck. Many of its warriors, kits, queens, and elders died during the tragedy. Those who survived did not last long, and after body to body fell to mother earth, the leader and one single warrior was left standing; Cloudystar and Sparrowstripe. Their home was no more, and with a heavy heart, they ran away from the forest and to the twolegplace close to it. They met kittypets and loners, most of which turned a blind eye to the strange forest cats, but others... took interest in them. With this newfound community, Cloudystar told stories of the clans, and with that a new idea came to mind. They will start over. StreamClan may have died, but PondClan was born. A new era of clan life.
