The real answer: No. The right answer: Yes.

Nat Weiss met Brian in 1964 and from there became his closest friend and confidant until Brian's death. The final letter Brian ever sent was to Nat, discussing plans for the trip he was making out to New York—partly to see Nat—just five days after his death. And the final photos ever taken of Brian were sent to Nat with a note saying that he'd like them back eventually, as Brian rather liked them.

Beyond the business side of things—in which Nat was very prominent; for example he helped out after the Bigger than Jesus scandal—Nat was very involved in Brian's personal life as well. He had very strong feelings about Brian's boyfriend, John "Diz" Gillespie, and was persistently baffled by Brian's inability to pick up men; rather than sleeping with them, he'd just talk the night away. Nat was also the only other person blackmailed by Diz after he stole both Brian and Nat's briefcases in 1966, and Nat was the one who actually had Diz arrested in New York for robbery and extortion. And, despite flowers not being traditionally used in Jewish grieving ceremonies, Nat did discreetly throw a sunflower—given to him by George Harrison—atop Brian's coffin before it was buried.

Now, as far as the historical record is concerned, they were purely friends; very close friends, but just friends nonetheless. But it's my personal opinion, as well as that of my moot, that Nat might have had something of a crush on Brian. His descriptions of Brian to Philip Norman in Mr Moonlight are effusive and rather thorough, as well as more than adoring. He spent the last three years of Brian's life concerning himself with Brian and Brian alone. And, judging by the final, somewhat flirtatious and sultry photos Brian sent to Nat, maybe there was something reciprocated between the two of them?

This is pure speculation on my part, by the way. There's no concrete evidence I'm going off of; it's mostly just vibes and hunches. But, if anyone feels so inclined, I am in the process of writing a Brian Lives AU where he and Nat become a couple and navigate the rest of the 20th century together...
