“Yoon?”

“Hm?” he hums, still locked on his laptop.

“Would you love me if I was a bug?”

He doesn’t look at you or respond, but a slight pinch between his brows appears. You poke him in the thigh. “Yoon, did you hear me?”

“I heard you, I’m just trying to figure out what the fuck kind of question that is.”

You giggle, collapsing against his shoulder.

“Would you love me if I was a bug?” You repeat, as if it’s a very important and logical thing to know.

His fingers lift from the keyboard, flexing. “What… kind of bug?”

Jaw dropping, you get up on your knees to confront him. “What do you mean ‘what kind of bug?’ It’s a yes or no question!”

“Like a spider or a moth I could handle, but a roach? Nah, I’d have to squish you. Sorry, babe.”

“What about a worm?” He shakes his head in disgust.

“I’d leave you outside.”

“Hey! Our love is supposed to be unconditional.”

“If you one day turned into a bug, there would have to be conditions!”

You guess he has a point there. Sighing, you flop back down with your head back on his shoulder, ready to watch him work.

“Would you love me if I was a bug?” he asks after a minute or so of typing.

You grin. “No.”

“Aye!” He tosses his laptop to the side and lunges for you but you’re already off the couch and running away, shrieking in laughter. “Come here!”
