Hello and thank you for your question! As a big fan of horror who eventually came to the genre of interactive films(like The Dark Pictures), I no longer see the relationships between characters as fixed, but as a plotting tool, so for me the matter itself is already flexible!

If we're talking about my vision and ArcFlash specifically...Hmm...Why not try to schematize it? I'm bad at explaining, maybe visualizing would work? =D

I think it all started out rather awkwardly. Two geniuses, pushing the boundaries of physics and capable of creating groundbreaking inventions, but completely clueless about relationships? I think that could have been a big part of what led to the incident despite coincidence.

I designed the events in the Manor less canon-like for various reasons, and they ended up in a pattern that seemed too interesting to change much, haha! Perhaps this will become canon in ArcFlash, but for now, this is more like a draft route.

At the end of the day, I can say it's all relative. Sometimes their relationship borders on being too formal to ever become closer; sometimes it becomes a complete ruin of broken trust and imposed hatred; sometimes it's simply quiet moments in which two minds bound by a common passion can begin to resonate.

Thanks for the question! I was honestly really excited about receiving it so quickly, haha. This is pretty important topic for me, and it's also relatively new and unpolished, so I wasn't even sure how to best present it (seriously, I've had two unsuccessful attempts XD)... But I decided to summarize it somehow to cover some details.

So what is...

I like to think that if arcflash were a full-scale, real project, it would be structured like this. There are still recognizable canon patterns, but you almost immediately begin to see the author's interpretation, before it all gets lost in the weeds...

(I have a terrible habit of getting into the media with ongoing lore, but out of impatience I come up with my own version of events, which becomes a whole separate world at once.)

The characters, of course, also undergo some changes... Someone now have no free time at all due to the pile of responsibilities that fell upon with promotion, and someone have to deal with incompetent clients in order to earn a living. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
