so, i’m a pretty fan of the book series the locked tomb [gideon the ninth and all that] and i spend a good deal of time in the tag, and recently, i’ve been thinking about the fact that the tag for the acronym “tlt” is shared between that and the band the living tombstone, because fanart of the band keeps popping up on my dash haha.
anyways, i don’t listen to them, but i think the designs are neat, so figured i’d send this over. from one side of the tlt tag to another. thanks for sharing the tag lol. your band rocks.

I’m changing up my prices a bit, but I also just wanted to give a little more flexibility—so now you can mix and match between different line/color styles, which should also help me keep comms more consistent to the price guide.
I offer character illustrations in three set styles and sizes, with the option to mix and match lines and color styles. On request, I’m open to using different brushes or styles (ei a more chibi style of character, etc.) in which case we can figure out the best pricing.
All prices in USD, and PayPal is preferred. Dm if interested!

OPTIONS AND RATES
Style A: the simplest option, with thicker lines and flat colors. Includes simple shading details such as shine on metal and hair; gradients, such as flush on skin; and simple patterns/designs on clothing etc. Best for characters with simple designs and clothes, such as characters in modern outfits.
Head/Bust: $10
Half Body: $20
Full Body: $40
Style B: Thin lines, and colors with soft/rough shading and rendering. The image above doesn't have much shading because the clothes are pretty flat/matte, but more complex designs may have much more visible rendering. This is the style I do most of my fanart in.
Head/Bust: $20
Half Body: $40
Full Body: $60
Style C: Sharper lines using a pointed, pen-like brush rather than the more rounded, textured pencil I use for the other styles. Rendering includes more detail and brushwork. As in the image above, I have a quite particular style of rendering that includes a lot of lines and shapes, so if that isn't the look you'd like, I'd recommend just a soft render instead. Best for characters with a lot of small details and hard edges--commissions in this style have generally been for phyrexians.
Head/Bust: $30
Half Body: $65
Full Body: $100
I'm not going to type out all the custom prices as not to make this post too long (and to save my sanity), but feel free to ask if you have any questions about those or how they work. The line/color styles are components of the main styles, so most of the information is in the descriptions above.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
Colored Lines: +$5
Background: I usually don't do backgrounds in my own illustrations, but I am trying to work on them. Background prices will depend on complexity--let me know what you want and I will provide a price estimate. Simple backgrounds such as a shape or color gradient behind the character are free.
Multiple Characters: Additional characters cost 70% of base price.
Character Sheet: A series of drawings of a single character, provided they are commissioned at the same time, will cost 15% less than the sum of all components. This includes the same character dressed in different outfits.
PAYMENT PROCESS
As I mentioned above, I accept payment through PayPal in USD. You can send money directly to my account, @VRWintner, or if it’s more convenient for you/you would like a record of the transaction, I can also send an invoice directly to your PayPal account.
For commissions of $40 or more, I require at least 50% of the cost to be paid upfront (although clients are welcome to pay more than that, or pay in full upfront). The remaining cost can be paid upon completion, and may be paid in installments if necessary. Commissions of under 40 can be paid on completion.
Bear in mind that if you fail to fully pay for a commission, you cannot purchase another until you have done so, and I may be hesitant to accept a commission if you are unreliable with payment. If something comes up and you need more time to pay, please let me know! I completely understand that things happen, I'd just rather know than get ghosted.
I always welcome tips! If you're able and willing to toss me a little extra on a comm, I greatly appreciate it (but no stress if you can't--I don't expect or need to be paid any more than the agreed upon price).

any material I have personal or ethical issues with drawing. Given the commissions I have had before, I don't see this being a problem, but if this or the above clause applies, I will make it clear with the client that I am unwilling to draw it immediately.
*Inquire in dms for more information on nsfw comms! Same prices apply but I have a separate list of what I can/can't draw for that. Minors DNI, obviously.
Understand that art commissioned from me is still my art, and I expect to be credited for it. Please don’t repost my art without credit to me (rude), or use it for training ai (why???).
