Hello… Here’s a random portrait I started last night! I’m in a habit of only showing finished things, but am posting this WIP so I can break from it for a while. I have other fanart priorities, lol… Gotta finish up my “big bang" pieces! Well, I was looking up acorns and (as many are wont to do on Wikipedia) ended up on a rather irrelevant page on the “ritual of oak and mistletoe" performed by ancient druids - which, of course, made me think of Merlin… and then BAM! I’m painting Colin Morgan’s stupid face again. So, yeah, the mess against his hair will eventually resemble mistletoe and oak leaves! I adore autumn colours… Oh, gosh, am just realizing how much it looks like I’m contributing to the “flower crown" craze, lol! I just thought Colin would look extra pretty with leaves in his dark curls. Well, well, well…

sh falls asleep 

It’s been a while since I made an animation, I wanted to work on one of the most beautiful shot in Sherlock: the bed scene in A Scandal in Belgravia. Traditional animation made with 28 different drawings on the same paper, it means that all the sketches in movement that you see, except the very last one, don’t exist anymore. I make a sketch, scan it, erase it and make the next one. If you look closely, you can see the lines of the previous one dissapearing slowly, they’re like ghost sketches! I’ve chose that cruel technique to create a ‘dream vision’ and because it’s easier than to do them separately.
