MY FIRST FEATURE DOCUMENTARY WILL HAVE ITS WORLD PREMIERE AT TRIBECA FESTIVAL!
Often considered one of the Top 10 film festivals in the world, Tribeca was co-founded by Robert De Niro and his friends Jane and Craig in 2002, meaning that we also get to be a part of the 25th anniversary festivities!
Their description of Micronations: "From backyard kingdoms to full-blown diplomatic summits, the world's self-declared kings, queens and emperors invite you in. A whimsical and surprisingly timely documentary about borders, identity and the human need to belong."
Our film will be featured in the Viewpoints category, which they define as hosting "the most boundary-pushing, rule-breaking new voices in independent film."
Micronations will have its red carpet premiere featuring some of our stars on June 5th at 5:45pm, will feature a Q&A with me and some of the stars, and will be followed by two other public screenings! Tickets go on sale on April 28th.
